Nice to see your reaction to Reg Guys video. Nils, can you recommend 2 or 3 good apartments in Legazpi Village on a budget similar to yours. I've never been to the PH but I really think Makati would be a good fit for me based on its healthcare system (since I am no spring chicken anymore). Also, did you keep an American phone service? My worst fear is to not being able to access my US banking because most of my accounts use two-factor authentication codes. I do have Charles Schwab as well as others and have a Wise account. Any info would be greatly appreciated. As usual GREAT video!!!
@AsianRomance9 ай бұрын
1) Search Airbnb listing in Legazpi Village, Makati. Message the owner, and ask for any discounts for monthly bookings. If staying longer than 1 month, use rentpad.com 2) I use an American SIM card for a spare unlocked cell phone, just in case I need to receive a bank login verification. 3) Call Schwab and have them put a travel notification on your ATM card. 4) Wise is good for paying rent and other bills in the Philippines, It connects with your American bank account. No need for a Filipino bank account. You can also use cash to pay bills or withdraw cash from your ATM card.

Look at this also, sex in general can or cannot be a hangup, it basically depends on the indiviguals and in different cultures. As in western cultures seem to be more hungup on sex than in eastern asian cultures. This also can be a difference in generations.

I can personaly base my opions on the difference of asian cultures i have lived in and traveled through. In Japan, Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka and Okinawa, In Korea, Seoul, Taechon, Kunsan. Hong Kong, Taiwan in Taipei, Bangkok, Pattaya, Malaysia in Kualampur, Singapore, Philippines, Mindanao in Cagayan De Oro, Dipolog, Osamis City, and Leyte, Tocloban, Samar in Santa Rita, Luzon Manila in Baguio, Pampanga, Zamballes, Batangas. AND IN Guam, personally i choose the Philippines in culture and the People. And i've had both good and bad relations.

Nils, my Cambodian girlfriend has the same slavish mindset as your Filipina. I don't know how to break this insanity. I must be careful about financial support, lest all money be redirected to her parents. It's obscene that parents seek to take money from their children. Furthermore, only the unwed children are expected to provide financial support, thus, in this case, the responsibility falls upon the 2 youngest sisters. Correct me if I'm wrong, yet there doesn't seem to an exemption for married children in the Philippines.
@JD-vh5hj9 ай бұрын
As long as the Filipina is married to a foreigner not only will her parents try to leach of her through you - the husband - but also the extended family… so cut this off from the beginning
@AsianRomance9 ай бұрын
Yes, if you are paying bills or tuition make sure you pay the bills directly to the company or school that is presenting the bill. Married children are supposed to be exempted from paying money to the parents, but they still pay since they feel sorry for the parents. It is trained into their blood from childhood.

Hi, I don't think regular guy has experience of dating a Filipino girl long-term. You are spot on regarding the enigma of dating girls from non western countries. If a better option exists in the environment, then you then the probability of monkey branching goes through the roof. A better option than you, in a Western democracy can be and frequently is to divorce you and take half your stuff. It's much safer to live in situ and not get the government involved. Even if you want a family. The freeloading family depends on the girls father. Is he lazy. A good relationship with her father is associated with stability in a girls' relationships with men. On the x boyfriend thing, a lot of the time if he is still around and not just a distant memory replace x with sneaky!

I mean, he isn't, an X she as she is still enjoying a clandestine relationship with him. This is relatively common in the Philippines and Thailand if you are to believe the guys who tell you their stories. This actually happened to regular guy in one of his stories. The girls can be in love with a local Chad, but he has no resources he will invest in them, so they use a foreigners cash. The classic bata bucks alpha fxxks! Sometimes, this guy can be introduced as a brother or cousin. I'd imagine it's super common if you are sending cash but not in the country? Most guys from the West aren't used to being higher value targets to attractive young girls as they are considered poor to Western girls. The Western girls won't even interact with them, never mind lie. The thing about all this is not to get negative about it it's just life. "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all!"

@AsianRomance that's a tad ambiguous-every flippina relationship I've entered into; family emergencies, incessant property or business proposals and ensuing emotional blackmail-have featured. The flippina's all came from varying professions and backgrounds eg. Shop assistants, hospitality jobs, freelancers and separated housewives. I retire this nov in the Philippines but, it will be short times with bargirls from now on.

What I am trying to say, most relationships have challenges, but how you react to these challenges teaches you a lesson about yourself. For example, when your wife may overspend on the credit card or damage that car or motorcycle. You can choose to blow your top and spew four-letter words, or you can calmly sort out the situation and find a new way to avoid similar problems from happening in the future. If you did not have challenges you can say that life is better, but can you really say you became a better person? ... I feel that challenges help you grow and become a better human being.
@pandemicoftheunvaccinated53679 ай бұрын
@AsianRomance I'm addressing pinoy collectivistism and you're talking about "growing". That's like saying flippina's don't have secret flippina bf's who often masquerade as a brother or cousin. Don't trust them for one minute-take what you want and leave.

Expect the sugar. Babies get money or nice gifts from the mints in exchange for being companion or giving other favors. If you know what? I am leaving. It's common knowledge that many Filipino ladies do this. I know several ways to do that. For lots of sugar babies, the money they get is very much needed for basic things less than a week and pay rent. What they sleep next sugar. Babies and mass show mostly Bena. Sugar babies used 35% off. There should be money for education and 24% to pay rent. The website data show that metro Manila has the most sugar babies. Around me, the weekly square next highest is significant region with 47000 many are in Angeles city. 2. That is like Manila where there are good opportunities to meet foreign businessman, sugar steaks, even small cities and provinces. The sugar trend.
