Thank you! And she didn’t! I didn’t feel any severe tightness. I’ve been super honest with her especially about my edges because I’m on a grow journey with them. She’s amazing!

This was such an informative video! Coming up on my first wash and retie. Trying to hold off til this weekend which makes four weeks but I sweat SO MUCH in my scalp and my pets are already gone 😂

I'm sooooo glad I came across your page. I am exactly 1 week in. I don't have microlocs. But they are small starter looks with the 2 strand method. I've gone thru plenty of emotions this week lol. My loctician actually pinned mine up and baby issa struggle. I'm trying to get used to seeing me like this, lol. But I'm reafy for the journey ahead.

Congratulations on your journey! You got this! I always just suggest to ease into your journey. It’s a beautiful process. No rush to have it all together or know everything.

Honey, locs are unbeatable when it comes to get up and go! Second only to a bald head or brush cut! You can half interlock your head and no one knows where you started or stopped!

New subscriber, I’m so happy I found your channel! I think our hair texture seems similar and I’m getting my locks established this month! What was your parting size? Would you consider these small or medium?

Thanks for subbing! I have no idea if the parting size lol but I definitely have them small. Since my hair is fine, my loctican explained that if I went smaller, I could risk the locs breaking off when my locs were fully mature because strands wouldn’t be able to take it

Do you workout? I know this video is a year old but I am a month in and I workout 4-5x a week and sweat my scalp. My locs are frizzy

Not that often, but I sweat in my scalp 😭 I ended up putting hair foam on my hair to combat my frizz

@ thank you for replying!! Does your loctician use any gel or just oil when doing your reties?

@@brianatemple606 so outside of oiling my scalp, I honestly don’t think she uses anything in my hair. I’ll double check with her. She will use a foam at the end.
