Good tips Vinh. Three rules of shortening a story 1) Focus on the action 2) The height of emotion, or 3)The point of the wisdom.

The visual and auditory clutter distracts from the message and that to describe yourself in interviews you should tell stories not adjectives.

Thank you for sharing your perspective Vinh. To be fair if someone is interviewing for head of innovation and they can’t think of a story that shows innovation it may rather be a reflection that the role isn’t a good fit.

Hello Vinh! You've got great energy and fabulous messages and content. I'm a singing teacher and vocal coach, and I'm picking up on the fry in your voice before anything else. Your timbre and resonance are otherwise lovely to listen to. Take a yawn like breath to release your throat, activate your diaphragm and core muscles, and support your voice like that. Cheers, Suzann

#AskVinh Hey vinh, I love your contents very much. They are buillding me up day by day. But nowadays I have been noticing that, I can be playful and very interactive with people while talking who are not my closed relatives. I can add emotions in my speech. But, in the case of talking to my relatives, like, my mother, father or brothers, it seems pretty hard for me. What would be the solution for me?

I think blatantly telling that you don't 'follow the crowd' kinda puts down other people and the interviewer himself, which makes you appear boastful and arrogant in a way or maybe it's just me

At my old job I worked with metals and oil so my hands were always covered in dirt. You would only realizes apon going to the washroom and looking in the mirror that you were touching your face because it would be covered in oil and metal particles. Its how we could tell someone who worked there was new. So now every time I talk to someone I just picture myself wearing the oil soaked gloves and I stop touching my face.
@tylerterryYT7 ай бұрын
No offense and not trying to troll, but I feel there are a lot of people for whom this would “work” and also a lot of people who would quickly perceive it as inauthentic. When someone speaks like this to me it makes me cringe. When someone uses my name every other sentence I know they’re trying to manipulate me. I prefer authenticity. You would never speak to your family members or friends like this. So what are you doing? Performing? Maybe there’s a place for that somewhere but it puts me off for sure. There is good advice in here but I’d caution people not to lay it on so thick.
@ANIME-hg2pw6 ай бұрын
I can assure you the amount of people who think this approach will be "inauthentic" is very low
