For the eggs, I use the 5/5/5 method in the instant pot- 5 minutes at pressure, 5 minutes on low, 5 minutes in the ice bath. The first 2 can be adjusted based on your cooking method, but I usually peel them right after the 5 min ice bath. And the jeans are cute! I used to wear those in the 90’s (I was around your age then). I’m studying geology and am enjoying your algebra videos! I’m heading into pre-calc this semester so thanks for the ASMR refresher :)

I always add a splash or two of white vinegar to the water I boil the eggs in. Then when I'm ready to peel them I tap them on the counter til there are cracks all over and then I peel them. It usually works perfect. I hope that helps! =) Edit: Cats can have boiled eggs in small amounts but do not feed kitties boiled eggs if you use the vinegar trick lol

4:38 just use a spoon to peel them off put the spoon under the shell and do a circular movement around the egg shape and poom perfect boiled egg

Trick with the eggs is not to let them cool down to much before removing the shell and also why they looked like they exploded was because as you lower them into the water you may have cracked it ever so slightly, but the main point from all this is that your voice is to die for

I’ve heard that putting a slice of a lemon into the water when boiling eggs helps them peel easier but I haven’t tested it myself so I’m not too sure about it lol

I personally just boil the eggs then let them cool down but still kinda warm without putting them in cold/ice water. No problems with peeling shells.

If no one has mentioned it, gently tap the boiled egg on the counter all over and it’ll crack the shell a bunch and make it waaaaay easier to peel off!
