Looks so clean. How hard would it have been to simply run the stock AC compressor? Thanks
@PuddinsFabShop4 жыл бұрын
Mounting wise it would of bolted in the factory location. The displacement the factory compressors puts out I believe is more then what is required for the vintage air system. It would work but it wouldn’t get as cold as it will with this.

Hi what motor mounts did u guys use? What Trans r u going with?
@jayinmi37064 жыл бұрын
There is another budget option for the compressor mount. IIRC, you can use an AC bracket from a pre-Vortec 4.3 S-10 and make a slight modification. But it might not work with the Sanden 709. There's a summary of mods at maliburacing.com/forum/threads/a-c-summary.79059/

Hey man, you are doing a dual AC Front and Rear. Correct? I'm going to try to do this too. What compressor and Vintage Air Kit did you end up using?
@PuddinsFabShop4 жыл бұрын
Yep! I’m using the sanden 709 compressor, the biggest the condenser they have, and you just pic out which units you want to use. I’m using the GEN IV magnum in the front and like Gen II miniunit for the rear. Call vintage air talk to sales and tell them what you’re wanting to do. They will email you a diagram of everything you need and the layout for it.

yay a burp LOL been watching all your vids from the beginning. may i use you burp? :P i kinda wish you did a couple vids a week (or more) but ik with you having a full time job its hard to do. ive noticed you have evoked a lot through your vids and have gotten a lot better being in front of the cam. :D have you ever thought about twitch? or maybe even going live on youtube to do like a filler or something. idk its just a thought :) btw i dont watch many ppls older vids. you are fun to watch and is awesome at what you do even though youre not a master/trained it it :) i was gonna be an auto mechanic after high school then i got 1 year under my belt then i had my kidneys failed. i HS i loved working on small engines and was better then anybody in my class (forget Tecumseh. i could never get them to run again even after throwing all new parts at it. Briggs is my bread and butter) i miss doing it. sucks having all this knowledge and not being able to use it. i had 2 kidney transplants and this second one failed though i was extremely diligent with it compared to the first one (very immature didnt take my meds properly) and it failed due to my mother passing. the docs did everything they could to try to save it with no luck. ive been trying to move to NC where my bestie lives for better support since i have no one here anymore in MO. tried losing weight to get back on the list. ive plateaued. just a lot of things have happened since ive lost the kidney and i cant seem to help climb out of this hole im in. but each time i watch a vid of yours it brings a little joy to me seeing someone doing stuff that i wanted to do after college (maybe not body work but i love drive train stuff) sorry for typing so much. i tried to find a diecast model of a travelall but with no luck. wanted to do a custom car for ya but i have another idea in mind you may like :) hugs love and bee safe :D

I don't have a channel as successful as yours but I had an idea and it seems to work good on my channel if you take all of the videos you have of the travelall and add them into a playlist then everyone who wants to see the build of the travel all can go to that playlist and watch it video by video KZbin also sees this as another video so you can share the playlist itself and you get more views and more content hours all of that sort of thing it helps the algorithm work for your Channel. And it's easy to do and not a huge amount of extra work or anything
