Hey Ollie. I agree. Every time I get online to play GT7 I get tanked from behind or side swiped. I’m hoping that when and if the lobbies on ACC ever start to fill up that the typical racer drawn to the more unique physics of ACC will be a more serious minded racer. Mind you I’m not that great but you can tell when someone is trying to race seriously or just have wreck fest.

You were lacking grip because your tire pressures were out of window. Tire pressures are probably the most important thing in ACC to make sure you get spot on. Baseline setups are all solid, but you have to adjust the tire pressures based on the temperature you encounter on track. Also, sliding will affect the tire surface temperatures temporarily and lose you grip, as well the marble on the sides of the track.

Apologies in advance for the rant-….Having been a massive GTS fan driving at A/A+ level , ACC on PS5 has been a good addition / distraction whilst GT7 sorts itself out! Since the recent update the FFB and has improved the game massively once you dial in the right settings. You can’t really compare GT7 to ACC as they are different beasts in different gaming spaces but both are great games and worth YT stream time! With some GT7 issues still ongoing, many people have drifted across to test out ACC. Looking forward to 1.8 update in summer could be a game changer for ACC on PS5. I agree that the sound in ACC seems very realistic and adds a lot to the feel. In GT7 I play in bumper/HUD view but in ACC the cockpit view is great as you can change the FOV and then the level of immersion is on another level. Just wish the graphics would step up a notch in ACC towards GT7 but that is the trade off in the games. The best Simcade ever vs a decent console Sim.

I play both on PS5 - though I love GT7- ACC is a bit more realistic, and you have to rescue the the course, as you saw with the sausage kerbs…the AI will race you if it’s on a high enough difficulty- the challenge is ACC is not as issuer accessible as GT7 - you really have to put time in in this simulated, whereas GT7 is more pick up play (I don’t believe ACC online community is as big on console as it is PC) Set ups are on another level as it varies with each track, although GT7 first couple of weeks with thinning was a blast. I believe there is room for both on this console. I enjoy both games- and with the GT7 update coming up, I’m sure it’ll get even better. Great video!

ACC for Beginners: 1. Pick a car that makes your pee pee dance that isnt the porsche or lambo....or Nissan GTR 2. Pick a track 3. Dont stray from that car too often because all cars handle differently so best to just learn one to start. 4. Adjust your tire pressures so theyre about 27.7 when theyre warm 5. Do laps until your pee pee stops dancing 6. Setup the car the way you think it needs set up and practice more. Lots of advice and setup sheets online. 7. Practice more. Its not GT7 thankfully. You cant cook it into corners on cold tires and expect grip. Dive bombs arent really a thing in this game its more about strategy and car placement. No push to pass either. Once youve put your hours in it becomes so good and so rewarding. Stick with it and enjoy.

Welp, this should answer the question of whether GT7 is an actual racing sim for everyone. It's not. ACC was designed for racing enthusiasts to take control of a real GT3 car and race on real circuits. That's why ACC has a tutorial type layout where you have to get ratings to progress. Exactly for the reason shown in this video. You can't just pedal to the metal around the tracks. The cars behave like real cars. It takes finesse to get good track times and be competitive. It also takes actual race crafting to do well. Hate to say it, but Kart has a lot of work to do in that regard. Awesome video. Thanks.

I don't think comparing the two does either justice as gt7 will almost always choose fun over authenticity when the 2 run into each other whilst acc comes from the completely opposite ethos. You will never be good at acc unless you learn all the minutia of race car driving. Gt7 gives you a lot of extras that just aren't and shouldn't be in ACCs ethos. A lot of actual gt3 professionals use ACC to get better, but for an average driver who doesn't understand the art of driving fast it's probably going to be a frustrating experience. That said, if you practice on acc and learn the fine arts like trail braking etc, you will be a better driver in real life. ACC is incredibly fun when you get to the point of running online with a safety rating high enough to avoid the noobs in multi player. It's going to require time and lots of practice. Jardier does a good new series on how to get started in acc. That said... if you want a fun accessible and forgiving drive, stick to gt7. If you wanted the closest experience to driving a real life gt3 car, it's ACC. Hope that helps.

I mean, ofc ACC will have better sounds and physics. There are 20 cars in the game and they are all similar, in GT7 we have cars that can barely hit 80kmh and cars that do 600kmh, so they can’t make things that much more detailed to certain cars categories. And ACC is a pure simulator as GT is way more arcade and friendly. But what bums me out of ACC is the online portion, it absolutely sucks compared to GT7 and sport. The organization is way better in GT. And people complain about not having lots of single player races in GT7, but in ACC it is even worse. The single player is almost nonexistent

Okay having seen your channel for some time now, I'm going to sub to you, here's why! I have a PS5 and have both copies of GT7 and ACC. The difference between both games is literally night and day. I know I'm going to get blasted in the comments, by saying what I am about to say, but GT7 (maybe the Grand daddy or Grandmother of video game racing), but there is a new kid on the block, snapping at its heals - ACC). This is due to ACC structure, for example, invalidating track limits, self awareness of those on either side of any given vehicle, pit strategy that GT7 whilst being a simcade genre that teaches some aspects of how to race, it tends (in my view - hold the gamers hands, for example pit strategy on entry to change tyres, fuel). GT7 isn't a fully fledge sim racer like ACC! In my opinion being a physically disabled gamer, I can spend 20 minutes max playing GT7, and for some reason get bored; however when it comes to ACC like today, I have just finished an 7 hour stint on it, because the emersion alone draws the gamer in, to learn more. The sound of each car is fundamentally different every time you step into a Lambo, Audi, Merc, Mac or a GT4 car. The difference is as they say - night and day. I could go on, but I'll say this, I'd watch content (of any kind) related to ACC, just to learn the fundamentals of how to drive a GT3 car and watch with participation from other PS5 users just to get a handle of how good this sim racer is! As Ollie racing stated in his post, if more PS5 players were to play this game especially online, then the likes of Sony et al would make a sim racing tournament from it. Its just a different beast altogether. Subbed. Once you get to grips with the core fundamentals from ACC I'd bet you'll say "GT7, what's that then?" ACC is just too GOOD!

Been on ACC since originally on PS4. Can't get into GT7 at all. It's just too easy and unrealistic

Just redownloaded after not having played since ps5. So far, the g923 I have is way more responsive to this game than it is with gt 7.

i tried this game last week while free trial on steam, its great game. im amaze on comment section that this (let say an old game) can compare head to head with gt7 😮 now im craving for gt7 on PC platform to make a compare

Depends what you want from a racer. ACC has the best physics by miles. Even the original Assetto Corsa on PS4 has better physics than GT7. You do need to put in a lot of time with ACC to get a good setup. I’d also say the AI in ACC is better too. Assetto Corsa 2 is on the way which could mean GT7 in the bin.

ASSETTO CORSA 2 is not coming out for at least 3 year. Thats what I heard from the developer.

Is there free roam in Ac?

It seems your wheel sensitivity is not synced up with ACC in this video. You are rotating the wheel less than what is shown in the cockpit view. It's a good idea to adjust the sensitivity so these match up. This varies from different cars by the way and makes a huge different in how you control the car.
@Kireth2 жыл бұрын
Great shout, thanks. My PC corrupted so need to reinstall drivers etc
@LuukVdStreets2 жыл бұрын
@@Kireth Shouldn't be a driver issue, but something you need to adjust in the fanatec tuning settings on your wheel on a per car basis. It think there is a setting that combines the ingame sensitivity and the fanatec one into a setup that works for all cars but I've just been adjusting it every car I use.
@Kireth2 жыл бұрын
I think it's driver as I had presets for different games (iRacing/ACC/Forza/GT) with different wheel rotations and brake force. Could be wrong though
@LuukVdStreets2 жыл бұрын
@@Kireth I understand what you're saying, however in ACC the wheel rotation is different on a per car basis. It's not one setting for the entire game. For example, the Huracan you are using in this video should have a Steering lock/sensitivity on your CSL of 620 degrees but if you'd use a Porsche 991 you'd need to set it to 800 degrees. Then the Audi R8 LMS uses 720 degrees. It's different for almost every car in the game which is why you need to adjust it in cockpit view every time you play.

AC is a hardcore racing seem. GT7 is like an arcade racer. They're both good games, although ACC is more limited than the OG AC, imo.

I was so relieved when you mentioned A.I., I really feared for your reputation. It looks a lot harder, is this the one where you have to apply set up, state your pit stop, tyres and fuel prior to the race? If so it will never be for me, the beauty and I think, the main selling point of the Gran Turismo franchise is ease of use. Like deployed 👍 😎🎙🏎✅

You can apply that stuff if you want, I think, but I have my options set to do all that for me. There are options to make things easier but you can also make it hard. It's kinda cool having a button just to start up your car if you want, seems silly but just adds to the immersion.

It makes the racing really good lol so many frustrating moments when one fucks up tyre pressures on a new set and struggling ensues. Or if the weather changes and tyres need changing

ACC - better sound, immersion, realism however restricted to GT3 (+ GT 4 via DLC). GT7 - essier for casual play, far more varied.

I’m hoping there will be some patches in the future for GT7’s car sounds - engine,trans,gearbox,tires. It’s easily the best sounding GT game but that’s not saying much unfortunately. It isn’t terrible but it’s not as aggressive and immersive as ACC
