Hi I’m doing my ring gap but I’m stuck standard piston top ring gap 0.34 dies this sound ok can’t get any help anywhere so any info would be greatful

Did your pistons not come with a piston ring gap guide? And what you need to look at is what kind of build you’re going for whether it’s gonna be track road or race all ring gaps different from type of applicant your building mate

@ I got mine from nevlock who was funny with me when I asked for the info even fir the arp settings as I got no info with the kit but I spoke a engine builder in Holland give him my specs and he gave me all the info I needed etc but thanks for the reply 👍

m8, when I see rust from cooling jackets I am just properly upset :(. Why it is so hard to buy and use proper cooling liquid that will not promote rust. I just do not get it. good luck with engine.

Good work @vinnievxr666! Question: What would you recommend - Elring head bolts or ARP studs for an engine with around 320hp? The ARP studs are 10x as expensive. Are they 10x as good?

To be honest with you mate standard head bolts are good enough I’m running standard head bolts at my power 533bhp but APR bolts are good if you are racing it down the strip every day and need to be taking the head off all the time we have now removed the APR bolts from this engine they’re not going back in again mate
