and here I thought that tripple slot FE would leave more space to the 2nd x16 pcie slot for another card for a dual GPU build.

The card is sooo thick! I wouldn't want to sandwich two of them together, airflow would be terrible! It wouldn't be bad if they were both water cooled 🧐 I think the only really sensible multi-gpu build today would be workstation GPUs and not gaming GPUs.

Hi. Can you tell me if your NVIDIA graphics card is displayed anywhere in your BIOS with this motherboard? In my build, also, with this same CPU and MOBO, and NVIDIA 3080 ti gpu, I don't see it anywhere displayed in my Bios. It is showing in Device manager and is working perfectly, just not showing in Bios. What steps am I missing? Very frustrating. Thx.

Hi, i have the same motherboard and case. Can you please show how to connect the case-frontpanel to this board?
@UnhingedSystems2 жыл бұрын
Sure! I can do a quickie on that this weekend. Quick tip, you need an adapter to plug in the second set of USB ports since most motherboards don't have two of that connector.

@@UnhingedSystems So I take it you never did the quickie video?

Hi. I recently built my computer with this motherboard. I have a question. See page 2-16 of the user guide. It came with a short DisplayPort cord. I attached mine to my RTX 3070 as shown in the illustration. Is this a necessary step? Is it to give full functionality to the Thunderbolt 4 ports? I can't find a good explanation of this. Thanks! Eric

You got it! The Display Port "IN" is for setting up Thunderbolt displays.

@@UnhingedSystems I guess this point is supposed to be self-evident? Makes me wonder what else I might be overlooking. Thanks!

@@willy657 I wouldn't say that it is self-evident, honestly it's the first board I have ever had with this feature. It's kind of weird, but very cool for content creators!

Will your setup works with my Ryzen 5950x? The RAM setup.
@UnhingedSystems2 жыл бұрын
It's all about the motherboard/CPU combo. The 5950X and the ProArt X570 works great with this CL14 RAM kit.

I realized after my build with this motherboard that my graphics card and a part of the case below the power supply (on top - Fractal Design Torrent) lights up with RGB. So it occurred to me after the fact that some RGB on the RAM sticks would have complemented that look nicely by showing some depth to the case. So I’m not going to replace anytime soon but my non-RGB RAM has a speed of 3200 MHz. 4 sticks of 16 GB each. If I upgrade down the road do you think I could go to the 3600 speed on this board? Maybe go nuts and do 128 GB total? Would I need a bios update? The guys at Micro Center suggested that the 3200 speed would be more stable. I’m with you on keeping it plain but as long as there’s some RGB then a touch more might work aesthetically speaking. Might as well speed it up too… Would wait until prices go down and maybe find a sale. Thanks!

With 64-128GB of RAM (4-sticks) there won't be a lot of compatible kits at 3600. With that much RAM you would do well to pick kits off of the QVL list for the motherboard or a kit that the manufacturer of the RAM has tested with the board. The higher the speed of the RAM the fewer kits are compatible so in that sense then yes you would be better off sticking with 3200MHz for compatibility. That being said the kit I am using for this board is 3600 CL14 64GB and I love it.
@ericwanner79662 жыл бұрын
@@UnhingedSystems So at this point I suppose I’d look for 3200 speed then, with RGB, but then I can’t justify it on lighting alone so would have to increase memory capacity. I do have sons who would happily take components I upgrade so not wasted. Good enough. Thanks 🙏

I bought this motherboard on July 2022, and till this date I am struggling to get ASUS support So, to the people in INDIA This is one of the best motherboards but if you face any issue that’s it, the ASUS support in INDIA is pathetic - I escalated issue to all level and no one from ASUS really gave any dam about customer service (even after CEO escalation) Not I will have to through this and go with another brand

Wait... where's the kiddo and who is this manly man??? :O ;) Please try out the Crucial Ballistix MAX 4000 MHz 16 GB sticks. They come in black, you can get 64 GB with 4 sticks and with 4 sticks you get dual rank. And 64 GB ram will set you back ~ $350. The reason I want you to try it is because I have 4 sticks coming in but I'm waiting for Zen 3D before they get an CPU. So you could try them out before hand and just tell me what to do afterwards. :P Edit: AH, you went G-Skill... CHICKEN! :P
@UnhingedSystems3 жыл бұрын
LoL I love this comment. Yea I ended up with GSkill. When I'm using 4 sticks I typically stick with the QVL list to save myself the grief of compatibility issues. Crucial is pretty solid, maybe I'll throw that kit into my next build!
