I'm sorry that trolls made Alex remove his other Atari commercial. Just because it had the athlete named Jenner in it and it identified that person using their name as it was at that time. They producers of the Atari ad should have looked into the future before titling their film.

i was 1-2 yrs old when this vid came out but i had 2 older brothers (3 if u count the one i didnt grow up with) and 1 older sister ....my brothers were gear heads like my dad but when the atari came out they became video game aficionados....brothers eventually when into pc programming some of the first home pcs ... my dad loved the NES too when it came out later in the 80's but i can remember sitting in my brothers laps while they played the atari games and being facinated by it ....i guess it was their way of keeping me entertained and not crying when i was a baby lol stuff like this brings back memories i didnt know i had and i miss those days when we were all together happy or alive ...miss my dad alot he was great always encouraged us to follow our passions .....

I actually remember that commercial, of course I'm also old enough to remember when PONG first came out. They had so many kids fighting over other kids hogging the game, that pizza places had to enforce a take a turn rule to keep the peace.

The infamous Atari, lol. Pong, table tennis, space invaders were just a few. Hours spent playing these games that we thought were so cool. Little did we know how games would be so advanced in the future.

I have this system with games and a storage case. I also have the original Pong. Talk about an exciting, fast paced game! 🤣😂🤣 I have tons of good memories playing that game.

My youngest older brother and I both had Birthdays near Christmas. We shared quite a lot of presents. One year my parents bought the Atari and decided to give it to us as both our Christmas AND Birthday presents! I had THREE older brothers I had to share it with! But, I laid claim to One of the two joysticks! I kept it in my room! It was all I had for my Birthday and Christmas!! It wasn't long until the boys destroyed the other joystick and after that, I actually gained some power! It was then MY turn to be the boss and extort favors!! Heeheehee!!!😏

As a kid, I had one of these Original Atari 2600 Consoles, I had fun with it, but ultimately I got Weened off of Arcade Video games as a Result.
