Great video - nice attention to detail. The only thing I am missing in your video is connected to the ballhandling / PnR part: Whenever Doncic has taken out his defender using the PnR, he always keeps him on his back and thus out of the play. You can really see it in your section about patience and waiting for the roll man. He makes sure they will always have a 2on1 situation, keeping his defender on his back to prevent him from coming back into the play. This comes from his coach at Real Madrid, Pablo Laso, who is fanatic about creating an advantage in PnR by taking a player out and keeping this advantage of numbers up afterwards. I attended two of his coach clinics and that's what he always preached about. And Luka has perfected this style of play.

6:54 i couldn’t stop laughing That’s a fairly good take pn the Doncic mystery, why and how hés so good. I believe there are others things to be said, nobody has really cracked the code yet. @@davejames3620 and thats more about his execution than rivers defense. Rivers did his best but luka will just get to his spot and get his finish. Double him and he find the open man. Its just an offense game at this point. Both teams will score. Unstoppable. Just try to minimize their shooting percentage. Theres not much can be called a bad shot. Now just make sure your best offensive weapon doesnt exhaust himself on defense. Because not much defense ucan do to contain the offensive players anyway. Thats the evolution of the game. Offense will win. A perfect defense will get the enemy score 0 points. But if you cannot score either u will also score 0. But what break the stalemate is offense. Had both teams play no defense, and score. Even if its 1680-1681 , the team with more wins. Hence why, all those defensive talks is meaningless. As much as good your defense is, its gonna get break. Nowdays defense are there to help contain the damage , not prevent any damage. Because the more u try to totally keep the opponent at 0 points, the more u will exhaust your pieces. Eventually, stamina will be a factor. And the offense will probbaly win by 1-0

people think vertical, first step and speed are the only parts of athleticism. His deceleration is there with Harden and thats it, them two on the top and nobody else even close.
