Worth considering despite the off-road shortcomings of the Audi as compared to the Duster. When that Audi Allroad is twenty years old it will still be serving its owner and looking contemporary while the Dacia Duster will have already been recycled into a Zanussi washing machine.

The quattro is performing flawlessly, and that is no surprise. The audi however is not an offroad car, by any means. The duster is perfectly at home on such trails. Very nice video!

​@@vladonigiri4764 nu am. pai il bate pentru ca Allroad-ul nu-i pentru asemea conditii. Clar ca Dusterul are 3 avantaje: garda la sol, unghiurile si probabil si faptul ca are Lock. A4 Allroad nu are caracteristicile astea asa ca daca il bagi in conditii unde ramane suspendat pe burta sau agata botul sau spatele, nu mai conteaza ce tractiune are. La fel, Quattro degeaba e foarte bun pe drumuri (pamant, asfalt) cand in conditiile astea de fapt ai nevoie de ceva mai simplu, care era si pe ARO si alte masini, si anume sa ai cuplu egal pe ambele punti, si probabil in mod ideal, egal pe toate cele 4 roti. Ce vreau sa zic ii ca testele astea confirma ceva ce cam stiam deja, ca un A4 Allroad nu-i pentru asa ceva. Am vazut ca sunt si filmari cu Duster si Q5, Suzuki; alea au mai mult sens. Poate ar fi faine si compartii cu noul Vitara si Puma si alte suv-uri din astea mici, poate si CX-30 Similar poate cineva sa faca video-uri pe teritoriul lui A4 Allroad, de exemplu viteza maxima, timpi scosi pe un circuit umed, nivel de zgomot la viteza de autostrada, etc. si normal ca Dusterul o sa iasa prost acolo, pentru ca ii facut pentru asa ceva.

as Tsanko Tsankov wrote, I would add that the Audi driver demonstrates experience and uses most of the car's capabilities in a given circumstances. (less experienced one would got stuck several times on that slippery terrain)...but, it is no off roader, that's clear. Duster on the other hand is at home here (also others have written) so...not really a meaningful comparison (maybe tyres?)....👍

For Audi station wagon (not a SUV or Off-road veichle) the performance it's good, for Dacia, cheap suv it's good too

good video except for when the guy is holding the snatch rope when the Allroad is being pulled (7:37 mark), the back hatch of the Duster is left open, and there is no 'weighting' on the snatch rope, in case it snaps or comes off. Extremely dangerous and there have been fatalities and serious injuries doing this. Please be aware.

I own a A4 allroad and its not a offroad car by any means, and if youre driving offroad, at least use offroad tires.......its like the name says its a ALLROAD car not OFFROAD. And the quattro system could be better on these cars to if its not limited by their programing. Turn of off ESP/ASR it doesnt turn it off completly. Ive owned a audi S2 -92 with torsen diff and A4 quattro -03, these were true quattro cars when you turned of the ESP. No brake assist and stabilising programs just push the pedal to the floor and all 4 wheels spinning

Ma băieți... Ascultați ce va spun nu subestimați dusteru e o masina care în utimi ani a progresat și încă continua.. Dețin și eu un Audi a6 quatro din 2017 și un duster din 2013.. Știți cum e dusteru ca un motan puturos care doarme tot timpul dar când e trezit de un câine urca în vârful copacul.. 😁😁

@@handleby îți dai seama ca audi. La 320 cp care îi are.. Nu mai zic de dotări.. Dar și dusteru îmi place în felul lui..chiar e o masina foarte bună..Ma bătea gândul să-l fac un monstru de vro 3- 400cp.. Dar sunt costuri și mult timp de pierdut...

​@@irineldiaconu709 pai esti intr-o situatie ideala acolo, ai un cruiser comod, puternic si sigur pentru drumuri lungi si un suvulet bun de "scandal", de bagat pe dealuri, multi si conditii mai grele. ai 2 "unelte" fiecare buna la treaba ei, dar nu prea pot fi comparate si nici puse sa faca fiecare treaba celeilalte. Da, cred ca iese mai scump decat a6, daca vrei sa duci duster-ul la 3-400 cai, cu toate modificarile care trebuie facute.

cum compari tu 2 mașini 4x4 adaptabil cu anvelope diferite? ca nu înțeleg care e scopul testului în condițiile date... unul are anvelope noi de iarna (duster) și celălalt fiind lafel de sărac ca tine și-a luat un audi a4 la mana a 7a cu anvelope cel mai probabil uzate și allseason cred, deci ce compari tu?

Dar eu eram curios cum se comporta a4 Quattro iarna pe zăpadă și am găsit comparația asta la tine pe canal cu un Duster, ceea ce am văzut m-a dezamăgit și de acolo și comentariul. Scuzele mele... I have that piece of Russian junk 98 year model. My grandpas car. Even if it beat duster at some point in offroad, the car cant go near duster with comfort and durability. If it stands for a week you will definetly have to fix something it gets ruined all the time. If you buy it new, it will serve you normally maximum 5 years than you gotta throw it away.

1: Duster este bunå la ce este conceputå , ... este perfectå de mers pe coclauri si de parcat pe trotuar... samd ... 2:42 and 7:08 - I have not idea what is so Unique about this "Legendary" All Whell System Quattro - Torsen - On the Video you see how Distribution of Traction ist not Optimal.... This Car Gives bad sounds too.... A lot of people laugh about 4x4 with Clutch but why? This system Lock 100% - 50:50 - Just like an off-road Car. Very important is but Lock-Diff not only 4x4. Lock-Diff.

Chiar crezi sincer ca sistemul integral, la cerere, de pe Duster e mai bun decat cel permanent de pe Audi (lasand la o parte garda la sol, strict sistemul 4x4)? Pe terenul asta cred ca si un Logan se descurca mai bine decat Allroad-ul, strict pentru ca are garda la sol mai mare si unghiur mai bune de atac si degajare
