Man, I was watching those videos on how to remove intake manifold from Americans - those were more then an hour long. I got lost after 15 minutes ;) Here I see everything in 5 minutes and I know where to go and what to unbolt! Great job man! Greetings from Poland :)

Great help thanks. Stepping back and pointing out the location of each nut would have helped a bit more it was a bit close and quick lol. To replace the main bolts do you follow the sequence 1-14 finger tight then go around about to proper torque. I thought the torque ls were 9NM but your manual says 10NM. My car is the A4 v6 67 plate but engine looks the same.

Hi, the engine is constructed the same as the A6 c8 50 tdi? As far as I can see, you can remove the intake manifold without removing the actuator from the turbocharger, right? Does the rail line on the high-pressure pump have to be removed?

Yes its constructed the same. Remove only pipe between fuel rails and slaken pipes (on the rails) that goes to the H.p. pump ( I mark wrong pipe nuts with the red arrows on 0:44 😬 maybe I will fix that miss lead✌️) And actuator stays in place.

I'm glad that it help you. I have some material on this engine but it takes time to make a video in this style. and not always i want to make it

Hi. Thanks for your video but it doesn’t do the job. There are a lot of steps that you are not showing. I am also in the middle of this operation and I just cannot take the manifold out. It’s impossible. I only took the first 3 parts out..cleaned them and that’s all. I cannot take the main part out. I almost took the whole engine out. I’m just quitting.. I’ll clean as much as I can and that’s all. Good luck guys.

Hi. Do you do this steps that is in the video on 2:02 and 2:59 ?if yes then you should be able to take the manifold off.Regards
