I got a 65 plate Quattro Black Edition in Floret Silver a couple of months ago. No model badge on the back, just black Audi rings, nice and simple. It's a lovely looking car, it turns heads wherever you go. Nice to drive too.

I absolutely love this mans reviews. They remind me of the original (best) Top Gear with Chris Goffey and William Woollard. Fabulous 👏

@@CarandDrivingCarReviews I'd agree - I've purchased my Volvo V70 based on your reviews. I would like to see some more insight into ownership liability with respect to key intrinsic mechanical features - drivetrain provenance, known issues with engines, gearboxes etc and which options are favoured for long term ownership.

I have a 2016 that I bought in 2019. Came off a 3 yr. lease from an insurance exec. It currently has less than 32K miles and it is always an event when I drive it. Still mint condition. In Florette Metallic silver, as German autos should be silver. Have only done oil changes, no other repairs.

Love the look of this car, it has hips like a Porsche. I have a 2015 3.0 TDI Quattro; great mileage and great torque, really the quintessential sport grand tourer. I tried a few others, only the panamara came close.

Good luck - I'm looking at one now (2017 TDi with 50k, 21.5K GBP) and sorely tempted. They seem to depreciate favourably if you're looking to buy a used one 3-4year's old. I'm a bit nervous over the mechanical complexity of a V6 with inboard timing chain but I like the clever use of materials and the fact that it's something different. I'd be keen to know if you took the plunge?

Excellent review looking to buy one probably a biturbo. Going through the spec options helps with the job of sorting through the choices on auto trader s bit simpler. Now I've got a check list

@@jammyjim69Yes the bitdi uses the stronger 8 speed automatic gearbox to handle the extra torque. The more reliable gearbox too so no dsg shenanigans. I'm considering the bitdi myself. Nice car though. The gearbox on the bitdi will need oil changes every 80k miles.

Have 2014 Black Edition, only had a couple weeks, A8 before (and A4, A6, TT), everything slow and winding roads, why not test drive when stuck traffic jam. I find the A7, slightly confused especially at very low speeds, do I want to be in 1st or 2nd gear? As above only had couple weeks but having owned 5 Audi's before just seems strange, maybe just me been a while since A8 but..loving it given black edition I have not fallen in love with it yet.

I like how he was bent forward almost to his knees when sitting at the back. What good is legroom when you can't sit upright. Useless. Just get an A8 (3-5 years used are the same price).Or a used A6 for a half-price with same quality and more space.
