Any idea how difficult this would be to convert to FWD only then use it in a RWD mid engine configuration? I can use the FWD 6 speed unit from an A4 but I like the idea of using the s tronic. Thanks

I was thinking the same thing, but was considering the R8 v-10 version, but I would have to imagine there would be a significant amount of electronic control needed. Someone should develope a stand alone TCM for it.

You would want to use a dct from an m3. You can get those on ebay for less than a grand. A company already makes all of the adapters and electronics. I have seen the install in a 2jztt supra. It is around 7-9 k in parts....ouch!

car runs out of battery becomes an overpriced chunk of metal, useless until new battery is installed and ECU reset or reprogrammed which have to be done in a dealer store, or recommend garages... were is the progress?
