When a 85 year old woman loves Chris and explains it like this, you know how amazing he is. My mom said "Hes telling you that you are pwerful and noone owns you." Shocked the hell outta me, but shes right. A million thanks to this man who even broke into an old womans heart. He is and was a king of his nation. Miss you so much!

Chris Cornell : A Voice best described as a double edged sword ....jagged to the point of Heartbreak ....Soothing as a Healer of all pain ..I tell you people ..it's uncanny .I listen to his music daily....because it takes me away from this chaotic life to a place where I'm comfortable , no longer restless with what awaits us tomorrow ...Gosh, I miss him ...will forever mourn this profound loss ..it's now 2021....and yet I still find accepting his absence difficult..I cannot fathom how painful his passing must've been to his family ..his many brothers & sisters in the music world & abroad...what a humble beautiful man ...God lent us ...You Gotta Rest Chris..🤎💫🕯️🤘⭐✌️

1:28 - That has to be exactly what we all do when we watch Chris. Music hasn't recovered since 5/18/17. Time is a painful reminder that he's still not here with us. The heartbreaking, and tragic way he left has made me think differently about life and existence...I cherish the pictures i took along with the awesome memories of a killer Soundgarden concert i went to in 2012 in Atlanta, GA! (I was close to the front like 4 ppl back, and i will never forget we made eye contact for like a brief second, i remember it vividly! I was just as big of a fan back then and i'll never forget that little fanboy moment lol!! Also, I love that everyone of us shares like a perceptive unity. Which is comforting to know that he will NEVER be forgotten, and neither will this timeless music!

I know we cant get inside the pain that people feel when they cannot take on life anymore But, its so very hard for us to accept that, that person who gives so much pleasure & has so talented & has brought so much meaning & joy to the lives of others, isnt there anymore. We have to allow them to follow the dicates of their own heart & soul no matter how much it pains us & how much we want to reach out to them & tell them No, please dont do this.. We cant, its desperately sad & as so many will say What a waste of such talent & such a person & how much more they had to achieve But they are our feelings & we cry because we hurt We cry for how we feel Without that person It was Chris's choice, we can Never know what was within Him to take away his existance We cant be the judge & jury I believe there is more There is no stronger belief i have That this is true I know there is peace in Chris Now His inspiration is boundless now I still don't understand why? in my earthly body but i reckon my Soul knows extremely well 🕊

Chris Cornell is an underrated member of this movement and there are several reasons for this, among them: He was the pathfinder of Grunge SOUNDGARDEN was the first band to have a signature and to sort of authenticate this term grunge that didn't even exist before. He formed TEMPLE OF THE DOG which was a tribute to Andy (another underrated grunge band due to his early death) and with Eddie Vedder, which after this band, allowed the formation of Pearl Jam. And perhaps the most underrated reason of all is that Nirvana put grunge on the rise from SEATLLE but there were bands with better and much richer content than them. Cornell was more poetic than the Beatles, heavier than Black Sabbah and with a vocal timbre compared to Freddie Mercury. He was a musician with a combination of excellent vocal, melodic and artistic quality. NO ONS SINGS LIKE YOU ANYMORE.

Se te extraña mucho querido Chris, me ayudaste con tu genial música en muchas etapas de mi vida, gracias por haber existido y darme el sosiego y a veces la euforia que ahora tanto añoro, una de mis pocas alegrías fue tu música.

Perfection live! Not many could sing every single word perfect live like this. Ugh listening to this song makes me so sad and I cry listening to it alone, it makes me think of my soulmate that died 3 years ago, and knowing Chris is dead too just makes this song even more emotional to me.depression surely does suck, I have always suffered from depression to some extent, but when my soulmate died, i feel it now on a level I never knew existed.

Great music comes out of drugs and depression. All the great bands of the 90’s, The Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, Alice In Chains all plagued by drugs and depression but put out insanely good music, even to this day. Cornell is one of the greatest singers of our time.
