Fun fact on the Chrysler 300. The SRT Design was an appearance package available only for a few model years on the first generation 300. It came with the badge, tuned suspension, and a different wheel option from the regular 300C. For many reasons, it didn't sell well.

Those v6 camrys are a non interference engine, so you don’t really have to worry about the timing belt. Run it till it breaks and throw a new belt on

Yes. The 3.0 1mz fe is non interference. But the updated same engine c 3.3 L 3mzfe is an interference and needs timing belt every 100k/10years

That Vibe odometer stops at 299,999 so if it shows that much, it could certainly have a whole lot more miles! 😂 We have 6 in our family right now with 130k-350k miles. Oh and the Celica GT-S with 165k!

Gmt800 is the backbone of car enthusiasts across the country. Check the frame Randy if your actually serious about scoring it for mike. Even clean ones will rust between the cab and bed or by the rear wheels. 1st Gen LS based 5.3 engines had shorter piston skirts and would get a slap noise sometimes. Doesn't effect anything and most untill 04 are still running around today. I know the vids are a little backdated but do look at the frame and brake lines please.

I had a 98 Camry 4 cyl I bought for 900. easily fixed the AC and a brake line was bad but it got me to work for about 3 years. Got a newer car, sold the Camry and the new owner called me about 5 miles down the road saying the engine blew up. I gave him his money back. 268k gave me almost no problems.

That Lexus is one of the most desirable older Lexus' out there. Worth a try. Interior parts are worth a lot, so I don't think you would lose any money on it. I know you aren't in the parts business but someone on the Lexus forums would give you enough to make some decent money.

That GMC needs some TLC but it's basically in great shape. I agree with the other commenter, check the frame for rust. You probably already bought it by the time this is aired though lol. Mike would definitely put it to good use, and also would slap a new Maaco paint on it. I'd do the silver too, why not!! I didn't like timing belt engines until I started to get timing chain engines. The belts were built so that they could be changed relatively easily, but the timing chain engines, not so easy (presently the SUV I have has the timing chain between the engine and the trans. I would now like to get back to timing belt engines so I can change them on a schedule. On timing chain engines the chain usually stretches you loose timing and the whole engine.

The biodegradable wiring was actually used because when they would go to the junkyard they would rot and break down and decompose but the problem with that was it was doing it at such an accelerated rate that they were decomposing while people were still driving the cars lol

Had a 95 that god flooded when someone broke in the night of a tropical storm. Three inches of water and everthing still worked. Insirance totaled as they said they didn't want to marry the car. My mechainc bought at the auction and had no issues except the radio display fading out

Well there's one thing my friend when you stated that when you check the oil on the Lexus it was right at the full Mark and clean. But you said it doesn't mean the head didn't ingest water. Well I have to beg to differ on that point because if the head did ingest water it would go into the oil return holes and end up in the oil pan. Don't you agree?

The palisade and the telluride are pretty much the same vehicle. Palisade is Hyundai and telluride is Kia, basically the only difference. They have the same powertrains and ride the same architecture
