Current 2017 Cayenne S Diesel has 850nm (626lbs-ft) of torque. Porsche are just Insane

Jason Hearn the Trackhawk has over 150 additional horsepower and nearly 100 lb/ft more than this Cayenne (though admittedly, the Cayenne likely makes that torque in a more linear fashion, and starting from a lower RPM). I think it's right where it should be, and given all the chassis and drivetrain control systems, it'll be hands down a more composed and quicker ride down that country lane (for whatever that's worth, being SUVs and compromised anyways).

yes the jeep may have more straight line performance... the moment they enter a corner... the cayenne will just destroy the trackhawk... also its Porsche and they r really conservative with their performance figures so i reckon the 0-60 is likely to be below 4 seconds

Rejoice Rone destroy?? Ahh I guarantee it won’t destroy it in the corners. You’re obviously clueless!! Trackhawk does it 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and I watched a video today where they got 3.4....4.1 and 3.5 is night and day difference!

Did anyone else feel nauseous whenever a shot from the passenger seat was on screen? That camera man couldn't keep that thing steady for the life of him! All that talk about the plush ride quality goes out the window when you can't keep a camera in the car steady at all!!!!

I have a 2011 Cayenne Turbo which i'm insanely in love with. When I saw the new generation at first I thought there is no good reason to change for the new one. BUT, with the rear wheel steering + PDCC being electric, I will give it another thought when facelift is due. Thanks for the review. Can't wait to see it live.

Informative review but what about the media system? You never mention how well it gives traffic info, does it have Spotify built in etc etc. I'd argue this is more important for the typical buyer than its' off road options !

I believe it did have the pdk previously but dropped it for his new model for more towing power as the pdk couldn’t handle high towing.

Good review and exciting new revision from Porsche (a V8 at last!). But what I don't understand are the idiots buying these things and expecting race car performance from these things. I admit to loving these cars, but I want big power in the same way you want a V12 in a Rolls Royce or S Class, effortless power to propel you ahead; to waft along all in the safety and comfort of a big metal box.

i was cheking this car on porshca configurator and im a big benz fan but this is the suv you can buy , you cant get better handlin suv than this better quality , and i think the massive costumization and opsion that this have are infinitive just try it and you will be cheking the boxes all day thats how many opsions you can add to this , and im really impressed i love it the best look exterior and interior , the best handling & comfort in same time and also performance and suv capabilities , this is the best car and everyone that can affoard to buy one they should buy dont think twice again im a huge mercedes fan .

This is truely the ultimate luxurious SUV I can already tell, since I really enjoyed riding in the last generation Cayenne and the fact that this generation shares the same interior design with the Panamera-looks pretty modern and comfortable.
