I know this video is a year old, but I just installed this exact unit and found your video while trying to troubleshoot a problem. Your video appears to have provided the answer to my problem. The BAT value displayed on the Receiver unit is the voltage the Repeater is picking up from your trailer. According to the manual, this is how you know your repeater is working is the positive value on the display. After I installed my unit there was not value?? Hmm, head scratcher. BUT after looking at your video - yours was showing either UNTIL you starting driving around! Problem solved - thank you!

Stephen - thank you so much for your feedback on this video! I'm very glad it was helpful. Last fall when parking my RV at a riverside location, the display started beeping. After I parked the RV, I looked down and saw that it was reading that one of my tires was low. Sure enough, it had detected a flat. I made a KZbin Short for chaing the flat, but didn't have enough time to put the footage in of the TPMS display pointing out the problem. These things do work pretty well, even two seasons later!

try measuring the temperature of brake drums or wheel hubs to see if they also have a temperature difference between the left and right sides

Hi, Calvin - I got these at our AutoZone last year. Different sizes had different colors and these were size Large. Thanks for watching and the feedback!

Nice video, Liked the watch too! What brand is that?
@BigfootDadExploresMontana3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, J B! The wristwatch is an older Fitbit model called the Ionic. I got that specific model because out of all the other fitness watches, this one looked best. I don't know if they sell them anymore, but this one is still working great. Hope that helps.

Well , it’s been three years, how do you like them?
@BigfootDadExploresMontana2 ай бұрын
Hi, Cattle and County - yes, still working great and we love them. The temperature is extremely helpful, especially on for days. Never had to change the batteries yet and we have thousands of miles on them. Drove from the Pacific to the Atlantic and everywhere in-between and no issues. We did actually have our detect a flat as we pulled into one of our favorite off-road spots (this is where the KZbin Short of changing a flat tire using the ramp jack came from). I'll be putting these same sensors on our cargo trailer next. Hope this helps. 😎

The tires could be hotter on the right side due to the exhaust of the tow vehicle.

I mostly see trailers with right side blowouts on the highway come to think about. If this was from hitting curbs or rubbing curbs I would think I could see some in a location with curbs.

Hey, dwal2165 - great observation!! I'll take this into consideration. Thank you for commenting on this!
