The singer wrote this, he walked in on the old bass player attempting suicide, this song is that guys point of view and part 2 is essentially the bands perspective

did it happen twice? because once it was Syn who walked in on Justin drinking tons of cough medicine. Another time it was Shads who walked in on Justin trying to commit suicide with cough syrup. It also says Syn wrote the song.

One thing that's super important to know is they checked Justin, the guy this song is about, into rehab. He's still alive and playing with some really small bands. He seems to have his life together.

"Fiction" would be awesome 👌 its their last song with their original drummer who passed away 3 days after he turned it in, when he recorded his vocals he was hungover drunk and near the end of his life, I bet he was always drunk cause that's what he liked to do but if you think his vocals sound weird its cause of that, kinda dark haunting intro too! Its also apart of their 5th album "nightmare" 🤘 which you reacted to about 1/3 of it yeee

A little bit more backstop about the song, he created the piano which sounds awesome and the drumbeat (idk if he studio recorded them tho but he did demo , as I know Mike portney from dream theater recorded the drums, but he kept the drum kicks the same as the rev demoed them) he usually used odd time signatures on his kick drums you could hear in this song. He also kept this song hidden from the other band members UNTIL it was finished, he demoed the melody which you will hear in the first verse

This song is from their second album from 2003. The songs you havent liked Matt Shadows voice are from 2003-2005. In albums like Nightmare (2010) you gave him some credit, he has improved with years. I know some people dont like Matt voice because I understand that he has a weird voice or not convencional. If you see live performances from 2008-2013 I think your opinion would change. I respect your opinion but, for me, he is one of the best modern vocalists in metal. He is the reason you dont like the band but for me is the reason I love this band. Music is subjetive...

New subscriber here. One of my absolute favorite A7X songs has to be Carry On. Haven't seen a whole lot of people, if any, react to it. Its one if their best songs musically and vocally in my opinion. Would be pretty cool if you could check it out.

Another band that's good to react to when it comes to great instrumentals and heaviness is Trivium. I'd suggest Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis to start off whenever you get around to it. Better Every Day It just seems like it’s boring to you and you don’t connect to the emotional parts of the song. Almost like you’re at a job you hate and you keep looking at the clock waiting to go home. I really don’t mean to come across as disrespectful either. I’m just a hardcore fan. I got to every California concert. Me and my sisters have Avenged Sevenfold tattoos. We absolutely love them. It’s painful to see someone not be into it emotionally. 🤷🏻‍♂️
