Matthew Hussey's comment on therapy is great because therapy tends to be shown like a bad thing where it is good. He is totally correct by saying that therapy is a place where you feel something and you can get help. He is correct by saying that you need a good therapist because the benefits of therapy don't work if you have a bad therapist.

Therapy generally doesn’t work for men. Men work through things by doing, not talking about feelings

@@drock430and this is exactly the problem that was brought up in the video. Men have feeling and need to work through them, and it’s problem that those feelings are being suppressed by “doing”, instead of sharing with close circle or therapist.

Helpful video! Building healthy relationships is a journey, and it's normal to make mistakes along the way. For me, by being mindful, learning from my experiences, and staying true to myself, I can increase my chances of avoiding common relationship difficulties and finding a fulfilling partnership. Improving my communication skills in relationships is essential for resolving conflicts, and building a strong emotional connection. Many thanks for sharing this great information with us, Max and Matthew! 🙌❤

PT here. 😊 Love your content Matthew… Food when retrained, there needs to be a period of seeing food as utility for purpose, and not reward. It is about negotiating with yourself 3 things 1. If I eat this how will I feel later 2. if I dont eat this what will happen? 3. Have I eaten junk today or yesterday and if I have, then Ill choose a whole food option. If you eat with more thought behind it, much like making better choices in love, the utility and result is identical. Eventually junk food puts you off 😅❤

From what I understand both definitions : definition of love and definition of happiness are understood differently by each person . Hence the saying : " As many people , as many truths ". That is right I am sticking to my version ( what it means to me ) and what I value the most , because my life belong to me and only I decide what is good for me . Everyone himself is the architect of his own life . That what freedom is all about . PS Besides , at different stages of our lives , both our priorities and we change . This is called the process of growing . Only when we are honest to ourself at the same time we are honest to other people . Then we can make the right choice and we give the choice to others of whether they want to interact with us .

First example. Hm not so sure- great playground for a guy to run gaslight on her. Besides if someone triggers you they are not safe, otherwise you would not be taken back by brain to trigger which is warning. There is thin line here.

Think about how many people stay with the first person they dated ? Zero stayed. Which means almost every relationship fails.

As he was talking about masculine energy he said “I can’t explain it but I didn’t feel good in my masculine in high school.” That is exactly what the question was referring to. I wonder if he made that connection.

But then he said that this masculinity was a source of both good and bad feelings for him.

@@Valerie-mw6ihhe can’t differentiate between the two. On one hand, he felt powerful. In that same energy, he felt inadequate. That resonates with me because I didn’t know how to differentiate either. There lies the epidemic that was brought up. What the interview didn’t mention is that not having that masculine essence is part of the divorce epidemic that we’re seeing. The lines are blurred here. Masculinity is not toxic or aggressive. It’s healthy, assertive and loving. It’s the ability to say “no, in our home we do not treat each other that way.” It’s healthy competitiveness and being a good sport when you lose.
@Valerie-mw6ih
@Valerie-mw6ih 16 күн бұрын
@@noevargas4161 Masculinity is healthy, you are right. And the doesn’t negate the fact that there is a toxic version of it as well: putting extremely high standards on men and women on how we should behave, what are we allowed to do be. That’s not healthy. Perceiving women as an object to be owned. Also an issue. But I agree, there are many forms of heathy masculinity and we need more of it in our wold. Another issue is that it’s men who have to save themselves, and become the positive force in society and for their families. This true masculinity can only come from within.
