I mean he’s at an almost 36 goal pace as it stands and his shooting percentage is just below his average so good chance he’ll end up picking up a couple more goals than anticipated. Still could see him clip 40 with how he scores in bunches

@@RedWingsFanClub Sure, but we still haven't won a game scoring less than 4. People blame the goaltending but our d turnovers and breakout are some of the sloppiest i've seen. Just barely managing to cover it up in the other end with some brilliant play. Feels like the guys are so impatient to score like they were at the beginning of the year, they just fumble it like a senior with a condom wrapper on prom night.

Some blown coverage on the king's goals. But got some dirty ones back. I didn't think we would get one over the kings glad we did. Crazy seeing Kane do that for the wings use to see him coming in on a wings goalie with all them stick handles.

We did a damn good job for as long as we did tbh, and even moreso considering two of the goals came in the first 5 minutes. Especially in the last half of the game, the Wings defense actually looked like a competent defense at most points.

After the first period I would have told you Detroit will lose the game 7-0. The Kings D is smothering. Their back check is phenomenal. It was incredibly hard to get a quality scoring chance against them. That being said, the Wings ground it out and somehow got the win. Without Lyon, we don’t win. The Kings have to feel like they were held up at gunpoint and robbed.

@@JaredGoofball I couldn’t agree more. I like Husso also, but lately he needs 4-5 goals to get the win. That’s not a good recipe for the big picture and definitely not for the playoffs. I would be shocked if we don’t do something at the trade deadline to help the D. The D can help knock that number down and not just put it on the netminders.

The end of the second pretty much summarizes the officiating Detroit has received this year: Seider is pushed or punched for seemingly no reason, he responds with a slash to the shin pad at about 50%, Seider is then punched directly in the face and then every one hugs and dances til they separate. If we fall out of playoff contention we absolutely should trade him, but only if we fall out. He's not here play for the Wings, he's here to play for a cup. If the Wings make it then great he'll play for us in spring. If not, then he's proven he can still produce so he and Stevie will find a contender who will take him for a 2nd round pick or something. But you also have to admit that he's having a hard time this season. The league obviously doesn't like it when they are paraded by a rookie and promoted into the boards on an assembly line - you can see that in almost every game. Many people have adapted to his style of play and he actually has to change something drastically and it's not even done that easily. In addition, he himself is often the target of hard checks because he is now worth sending him to the box, even if you have to leave the ice too. But I also see that he has already changed a lot, unfortunately these are not so obvious things that can be directly attributed to him. He's very young and will make it, I'm sure.
