I’m sharing how to make homemade chocolate truffles (chocolate bonbons) with many designs using simple baking tools and ingredients. I’m explaining all the crucial tips on each process so that you can make a jewel-like chocolate truffle box! Hope you’ll enjoy it!

📝The ingredients:
Makes 30 Truffles; 3 cm / each (6 Designs today. Do less or more as you like!)
Prepare a 15cm✖️15cm square ring/mold (Or use something close to the size.)
Ganache:
• Dark chocolate 200 g | 7 oz
• Heavy cream 120 g | 4.2 oz
• Honey 20 g | 0.7 oz
• Butter (soft) 30 g | 1 oz
* I recommend chocolate with 50-65% cacao content. I used 64% but if you want a softer ganache, use the one with less cacao percentage.
• Dark chocolate to coat the bottom go the ganache: About 30 g | 1 oz or more
* Tempering it is the best but you can omit it to make it more simple.
Chocolate coating
• White chocolate (I used 320 g | 11.3 oz.)
• Dark chocolate (I used 1 kg | 35oz. Use as much as you feel comfortable with)
* I used 64% couverture chocolate. No need to pick the exact same percentage.
Decorations: (Use any ingredients of your choice!)
• Toasted mixed nuts
• Pistachios
• Cacao nibs
• Gold leaf
• Pieces of white and dark chocolates

For dark chocolate, I used Cacao barry and Varlhona for white chocolate. They are both couverture chocolate. The links are in the description!

I make homemade extract flavors such as huckleberry, blackberry, lemon, raspberry, strawberry etc. Can I make the ğenache with white chocolate and flavor them? Or would it be a completely different process?

How long did the tempered chocolate take to harden completely at room temperature ?

They get hardened within 5 mins usually. It can varies depending on other factors such as the thickness, the room temperature, etc. You might want to wait longer to touch them just in case!

What is the shelf life of the ganache

Some chefs say a few weeks but I recommend consuming it within a week for homemade ganache.

It's cacao barry, I shared the link in the description. And I believe I used heavy cream from Kroger brand. You can use any regular heavy cream!
