Ayurveda for Pitta season and how to reduce pitta from the head focus on pitta dosha balancing practices.
Pitta season is the time of year that the Pitta dosha is most prominent, and this runs from late spring through summer.
SO in order to combat the excess Pitta energy of the summer, it's best to focus on Pitta balancing diet and practices.
Top practices to reduce Pitta during Pitta season:
1. Meditate / gratitude prayer
2. Wear light, breathable clothing in cooling colors like blue, white, purple
3. Focus on pitta pacifying tastes - bitter, astringent and sweet
4. Avoid alcohol - but IF you do drink, choose white wine or beer
5. Avoid iced drinks
6. Encourage positive thinking
7. Avoid hot tubs and steam rooms
8. Focus on routine and celebrate rest!
9. Exercise - but NOT excessively. Outdoor kayaking, swimming, water activities are GREAT, yin yoga, walk or hike.
10. Reduce stress - deep, slow breathing, yoga nidra, rest and play like a child.
11. Let the inner child loose!
Don't get wrapped up in the intense drama around you. BE light, be free, be cool 😎

You're so full of energy and beautiful, and helpful, i just needed this video! It's getting warmer over here so i was a bit irritated before watching your video but after just hearing the tips my mind and body already feels so much balanced. I love sauna and water bath afterwards, but maybe i should cut it down it a bit or shorten my time spending in sauna and water bath during summer

Ripe fruit Eat - Sweet bitter astringent tastes Sweet ripe fruit rice quinoa avocado almonds cashews Dark leafy greens- cleanse blood, good bitter vegetables, Legumes air in system Digestive spices Pita teas No cold water - kills digestive fire No hot water Room temperature Wear White blue purple Avoid salty spicy sour No sauna in summer pita season Positive thinking in summer Emphasize resting Embrace inner child - have a laugh

tame the pitta flame! haha I feel you. focus on cooling, relaxing practices. surround yourself with cooling colors like blue and white and be by water as often as you can. :)
