Thanks fella. Such a lush tune. Remember Josef K Orange Juice Fire Engines and of course Aztec Camera. The Sound of Young Scotland on postcard records. Glasgow's answer to Factory and Zoo records

I'm glad you're learning this wonderful song. I was just playing it a bit last night. Really nice to have these wonderful chord progressions in the repertoire... Somewhere in My Heart is a great one too. Thanks for dropping by. Just checked out your channel... Fabulous work, man. ;-)

Roddy Frame is a genius. Hugely underrated! He wrote this song as a 16 year old. Not bad 👍

OMG I love you. This song makes me cry. Someday I may be able to play this (I just started playing in September (and I'm 42), with Roddy as one of my inspirations for several decades, so I'm not a pro by any means), but I have great comfort knowing this is out there!! Can you someday play Back on Board/Down the Dip, or We Could Send Letters??

Hi. I do a 12 string version of "We could send letters"--it aint perfect, but oh well. Great songs that you mention... I'd love to learn more Aztec stuff.

also I'm pretty sure the "high and dry" part is 8 x 10 9 11 x---> 8 x 10 9 10 x and then the same shape lowered one semitone

so I also this part think it's wrong

I think the "chill will wake you" is instead x77999 ---- x6767x ------ x6647x ----- x4654x better voice leading great epi casino tone though! i'll post further if I find other differences (currently learning the song by ear)
