I actually learned this from Shi De Yang himself, when he visited the UK two years ago. If you do it first thing in the morning and last thing before you go to bed,you will really start to feel the benefit after about two weeks.Amituofo !

It's so good to see the actual traditional version of baduanjin! (could be theres an even more traditional version and Shi De Yang just shows this to the larger public. knowing him that's probably the case)

I don’t know if there’s an actual „the traditional version“ of it. There are just many many versions of it and I think one can just pick any of them and they’ll be pretty alright.

@@Livingtree32 No there actually is a single traditional version. Remember that they all came from Shaolin temple and every generation of monks might have made small adaptations, but there is actually a "first" and original version. Over the time I´ve been training I´ve seen at least 7 different versions of this set of exercises.

@@Seven-ld9zv No, there isn’t. And no, Baduanjin doesn’t come from Shaolin. It’s an abridged version of longer sets of exercises, that was compiled in the 20th century as part of the new „Qigong“ movement.
