Love, love, love your cardi AND your wind spinner, Bex. That is one thing I have not made yet! Hate you got rained out on Bute but what an amazing journey you took us on today. Will never get tired of the bridges, graveyards - well all the stuff you share! Have a beautiful day!

Another great video! And you know I am a sucker for your drone footage! Awesome…. Not a washout, it was excellent. Your dry humor is the best Dizzy. Bex has some mad crocheting skills…very cool! DeNiro is sniffing out the competition 😉. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.

Loved this video. We are the Canadians you mentioned meeting at Coulter Kirk, and it made our day for sure. Yes, De Niro is the star in someone’s eye, in this house at least. When we saw your van I used my outside voice while demanding the van come to a stop, and abrupt that stop certainly was. Four of our wee group with the two boys have returned to the heat and humidity of Toronto. We will return when we are tired of this weather, or in a few weeks, whatever comes first. DEW Line. The Distant Early Warning line in Northern Canada was put there during the Cold War and staffed by Canadian Military and, perhaps, other members of NATO, sorry I can’t confirm that part. The wee bridge beside the former ford in Biggar is Cadger’s Brig, said to have been used by Wallace, dressed as a Cadger, while being hunted by some people. Thanks for making these videos, makes eating dinner in front of a screen laugh out loud funny.

Well meeting you guys made my day :) Thanks for the extra info. I had to google what a Cadger was.

Oh wow todays video has a multitude of beautiful sky with others of rainy vistas. We enjoy seeing the differing cities and of course DeNiro who my grandson adores him. Bless him

I don't know how my Grandad managed to work on submarines, he was over 6ft and had to sleep in the torpedo tubes more often than not!! Spinners are looking great Bex - I've still not made any! Some very interesting graves & kirks. Beautiful wee places in general....off to look at your photos now 🙂

I loved everything in this video as usual. You never disappoint. The submarine was a bonus! Really cool meeting your fans from Canada. I would have done the same thing if I saw Daisy, stop and go looking for De Niro ... Thanks for all you do.

Scottish Borders, a hidden gem, eh? Enjoyed the drives through the countryside. Hope you folks were able to enjoy the games, as much as you could. Glad you guys are all doing fine! DEW is Distant Early Warning Line. Good guy radar systems looking for bad guy rockets and other incoming.

Hurray for Biggar! The puppet theatre was closed when we visited. Is it still a thing? We remember the wee bridge in the town. Seem to recall the memorial bench there had quite a funny plaque....? We love puffins too!

I think it’s still a thing but we’ve never been. Used to be a brilliant Victorian street museum too.

Weather wasn’t great but the video still was. Great to see the Waverley AND the sub. We were in Helensburgh last year and missed seeing a sub returning home by just a day. :( I can’t imagine serving in one. Too claustrophobic for me.

The sub was amazing. Wouldn’t fancy being on one of those escort boats though.. bit choppy.
