I think it would be interesting to explain the timing and purpose of the breathing noise you make when you squat. Seems very similar to how Clarence K. does it. Is there a connection there?

Happy New Year Coach! My goals are 73 snatch, 91 clean and jerk. 45 yrs old, 80kg bodyweight. Been lifting since 2010 but a devastating knee injury derailed my progress. The knee has not returned to perfect condition. Patellar tendon is noticeably weaker but at least i can lift again without pain.

Happy new year! 120kg -> 140kg backsquat, and maybe a bodyweight (85 kg) clean and jerk and 70kg snatch would be great for me. Over 35 and non-athletic background so trying to keep my goals fairly grounded!

Happy New Year! I aim to C&J 140kg, that is the main goal. In the summer, I want to do sprinting and try to run 100m under 13 seconds :) I'm good at jumping but sprinting technique is very bad!

I’d like a 100 kg snatch, 120 kg clean and jerk. A nice and smooth 140 front squat would be nice too. (Currently sitting at snatch 84 kg, max clean 111 kg, max jerk 100 kg, max front squat triple of 125 kg was a grind)

Happy new year! Because of my knee pain, I ended up doing 40x100kg, 35x110kg, 30x120kg squats. Ironically, going to total exhaustion with only one series, my knees hurt even more. I don't do front squats, no deadlifts. Should I try 5x5? i haven't done this in many years. What can be the explanation? Cristi 42years.

You should probably check out knees over toes guy and squat university. They have plenty good exercises for knee recovery. Like the single leg squat and atg split squat

you probably aren't strengthening the knee with that kind of rep scheme.
