The personalities may some times be hammed up at times and they will sometimes put crazy idiots on for entertainment but the cooking is all real.

Mainly for safety reasons, but also because my mother would kill me if I burned down her kitchen, or poisoned anyone with food I made.

OK so I’m definitely not a chef and I always say I can’t cook for s***, but I at least know what to do with a knife, how to prevent cross-contamination, and NOT TO PUT ALL MY STUFF ON THE FLOOR! Even though my family always visibly gags when I cook anything for them, I at least now feel better about myself because I know how to not kill them. I should start watching this show!
