So strange (but refreshing) to see an 80s metal band talk to the audience in such a friendly manner, when most others shout and act all tough.

eenayeah; And, to think how badly Vivian and the rest of the band got screwed over regarding their pay when they did the album and the tour during this time. Each band member was only paid $100 a week during the recording of the album, and $400 a week during the tour! And Vivian was HUGE back then! I remember thinking to myself, “Who is this new hot shot guitarist?! He’s amazing!” But to now hear what happened to him, how he never really was paid much, it really disappoints me, regarding Ronnie. And I always thought Ronnie was this super nice guy...

not really, i haven't listened to many metal artists, but the singer of iron maiden performs a million times better live than ronnie. just listen to the live version of hallowed be thy name, it's almost as good as the studio version. in my opinion this video was kind of underwhelming compared to the studio version but you can't really expect it to be perfect.
@denizonurdestici59904 жыл бұрын
@@mahatmapropagandhi your and Rob' s good or best definitions seem to be different. Yours sounds like: ''how impressive it is'' (which is over subjective). Rob' s sounds like: ''how difficult the way-technic dio signs, and how powerfull he does it'' (which is quite objective). Even some classic music singers, like sopranos are referring to some singing techniques of Dio. And i am sure if we ask the same to Bruce Dickinson; HIS answer also would be the same!
@Sandesh981474 жыл бұрын
@@mahatmapropagandhi highly subjective. I dont agree with this ofc. Im a fan of Bruce dickinson and Dio both actually, and I enjoy them both. Bruce has a distinctive way of singing that is unique to himself. Dio is a legend in his own right. There is no comparison and there can never be any. Dio also doesnt like to stick to the recorded versions of songs and always improvises the songs. That makes it so tht every live version youll hear will be a bit different from each other. Bruce doesnt do that too much. Dio's style is much more free flowing and liberal. I can understand why people enjoy any one or the other. Theyre very different.

The mellow keys at the intro...then...the EXPLOSION OF VIVIAN'S GUITAR!!!... My friends all nearly hit their heads on the ceiling!😂😂😂 That's the real classic metal right there! Ronnie was the shit! RIP RONNIE JAMES DIO THE METAL GOD!!! LONG GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN, LIVING FOREVER IN METAL HEARTS! For anyone who doesn't already know ... Yes Man On The Silver Mountain is awesome!
