The graphic at 4:13 (how Ryu's shoryu -> ultra works) is really important and helps clear things up.

Decapre's air throw has JP1 so it's actually the only air throw that can be combos into.

3:06 Exactly like your SF3 video. It seems that timing a frame depending on the characters size (and specificity of the character) are all that I need to worry about. Though this game is way different with how it handles hitboxes so this info may be bogus.

Damn where was this when sf4 launched years ago? maybe i would have stuck with the game

also it kinda sucks that its so limited. i understand the need for it but until it gets a patch you just wind up seeing the same punishes and combos over and over

***** yes! i feel the same way. i still love watching the pros duke it out but a combonaut like myself just wishes there was more variation but because of the way the moves are defined there are only a few truly great combinations for most characters. you would be foolish to do most anything else

SFxT had a lot of shortcomings both in the original game and in its release, but I feel like it was much better in this aspect. Optimizing a combo suddenly became highly technical. Most people just didn't even bother to optimize their combos though, lol.

***** Yeah actually really enjoyed the combo system in that game. it wasnt marvel but it was a good middle ground between the two. also i wanted to ask the uploader what kind of state is it when your opponent gets stunned? does it reset the state back to 0?

In the corner, Oni can do three DPs. First two must be regular DPs and the last one has to be an EX DP. What other shotos can do triple DP?

Ken can do 4 if he fadcs the first and hits the corner.

I've got a question, if you happen to know the answer... I already know how counter-hits affect normals in terms of added frame data, but I haven't found anything addressing special moves. Is there a rule for specials like how there is for normals, or is it a case-by-case thing?

Do Yun's attacks have 0 JP during Genei Jin?

I think genei jin normals just juggle regardless of juggle potential, but then it's automatically used up at the end
