@@Cyan_Nightingale Exactly, they are aggressive and angry people, they intimidate the Balinese people who are mostly gentle people, I choose to live in a location in Bali where there isn't many of them living, some areas of Bali such as Canggu are totally overrun with them now, most have no respect for Indonesians or the laws of Indonesia they do as they please.

I met Jimmy Fucken Hendrix when I went to bali 6 years ago and the guy is a legend. He's such a good salesman, super nice and funny. If you want to buy shoes, he doesn't ask your size he just says, "I know you, you King Kong dick mutha fucka" and goes and gets you some shoes. He knows what he's doing too because he got all out our sizes right first go. Also, he has an assistant called Harry Potter that no one ever seems to mention. I think I still have his business card lying around in a random draw somewhere. Another thing is that on the first night I was there, I was sitting in Club Bounty at one of the tables looking towards the street when I saw fight break out. I told my mate to turn around to see it, and he instantly said lets go out and watch and basically ran out the front of the club. When we got out there is was two Aussie guys yelling and pushing each other. One was like 5'10 mid 30's kind of fit build and the other was a bit shorter mid to late 40's and 100% bogan in a bintang singlet and everything. Suddenly, out of nowhere, this huge Balinese body builder guy, who was part of a body building show at Club Bounty earlier in the night, ran through and basically king hit the older bogan guy, knocking him out cold. He fell and smacked his head on the foot path, and blood started gushing out. It was pretty fucked up I don't know what happened to the guy after that but he was gone in the morning and there was a blood stain on the ground where he fell.

Having been to Bali twice now (with a third planned for next year) I can confidently say this video does an accurate summary of Bali quite well. But until an Australian actually goes to Bali themselves, you just don't quite realise how Boganized it really is. I'm from Aus lived in Bali for around 2 years, never once had Bali belly and yeah I brush my teeth with the tap water in my house, I have a water dispenser for drinking water but I've actually absent mindedly drunk a glass of water from my kitchen sink tap a couple of times with no ill effects, a lot of the time Bali belly comes from getting the ocean water in your mouth when swimming the ocean water has very high levels of fecal ecoli. And yeah if you're trying to quit smoking cigs forget about it here, apart from your own health worries there is no other incentive to stop, almost all Indonesian men smoke, women do to but it's considered impolite for women to smoke outside so you don't see them smoking so much, you can smoke anywhere you want here even most restaurants don't have smoking and non smoking areas, a packet of 20 Malboro lights or Camel lights is around $4, and there is local Javanese roll your own tobacco which is as good as any tobacco you buy in Aus except its $2.50 for a 40g pouch, the rolling papers and filters cost twice as much as the pouch of tobacco.

man, when i came back home from Australia (Queensland to be precise) in December i just walked outside of the airport and enjoyed the 8 C while wearing a t-shirt, shorts and a hat that would not fit in my luggage.
