♥ these girls. Dunno if I told you, but was lucky enough to be at the Band Maid & The Warning concert in Tokyo last month Both bands played my fave song from each. Then they brought The Warning back out for the finale where they all played on the live debut of their song collab! Best concert ever! ♥ Lights & sound were incredible. Also seen a fancy camera at diff places during the show. Hopefully they'll release an official video

This is my second listen and I enjoyed it a lot more than the first listen. I often find I need a few listens to new Band-Maid songs to fully appreciate them, as they are often pretty complex. They keep on delivering the goods though.

Did I hear Koto (Japanese traditional instrument) at 2:22 mark or is it sitar? If I remember correctly this is the first song where they used traditional instrument in their chaotic songs. Absolutely love 3:00 Saiki doing falsetto with Islamic flavour, Could be one of my favourite solos from Kanami, the mv and the final assault from all the instruments and gang vocal, and the finish, yep. It's a banger. Something catchy, experimental and such a chaotic song blended with middle eastern spice and hint of ancient Japanese (that's what it sounds like), nobody else but Bandmaid can do that.

I’m a riff guy. So, Moratorium, Clang are my favourites. But Bestie grew in me recently. So, it may happen with Protect too. Given that it’s riffier than Bestie that may happen sooner.

Can't wait to hear a live version without all the extra layering & production. Brilliant song, but I feel spoilt by all the live videos of late over the MV's. Always prefer the live. Got a real Lady GaGa feel with a bit of this one.
