2:00 The Bar is a extroverts game. Always was always has been. Lone introverts going there are always singled out for being creepy or weird when in reality there just careful about the company they keep.

Great point... I wonder if App's are easier for introverts?
@Not-Ap3 жыл бұрын
@@PatrickMarano In my experience there are many introverts on the apps who don't go out that much or not as much as they used too. When asked about the local bars in the area or in other cities they didn't really seem to know all that much but they weren't bad guys just homebodies. It's sad because people always say the good guys aren't in the bars and what they really is the introverted homebodies aren't in the bars (which is true). The guys people talk about they just want hang in bed at home with you aren't in bars because to the guys in the bars that stuff is boring (which could also be why so many are single there). Stabe = boring but also mean lower chances if infidelity is that's what you enjoy doing most.

Once again excellent and useful advice. It is so much better seeing people for real. There are so many "clues" one can pick up when checking out guys. Doing this in real time with the other guy in full view--and yourself as well, is, IMHO, the best way to meet.

Love it. It's a lost art for many people with all the online stuff. I'm a tease now though. I enjoy flirting but nothing is going to happen since I'm married. It's still fun though. Makes someone feel attractive when i flirt so it's not a total loss for them. Many definitely need coaching on this.

I go for telling them what I’m looking for. Sometimes we’re nowhere near on expectations and that’s great. “Have a fun night. Nice talking with you.” Other times it can be “My place, your place or right now (let’s sneak to the restroom or out to my car!)”. Beating around the bush is ok while playing but not productive while flirting.

I am glad that you mentioned people might be nearsighted but also people might be blind and not outward showing it necessarily. I have this difficulty one at a bar because someone may be trying to make iContact with me but not be aware that I can’t see them. Oh I only use a cane but when I was younger with a little bit better version but still blind I really had no outward showing characteristic. And obviously body language and other nonverbal communication is lost on me. 😔

On my experience, some useful tips are: repeat every now and then a few words of what they are saying, reassuring the fact that you are listening. Also, ask for their opinion on light subjects, not their opinion on the fucking Brexit. And make them laugh, laughing together is hot. Thanks for the video!

Back in Easter 2004 I went to this particular London club for the first time, alone. Of course, almost everyone else was there with their mates. Except one young guy who looked a bit lost (though he was actually a regular he said). I’m no good at smiling or flirting but we started chatting and have been chatting ever since. We became Civil Partners in 2006. (A long-time open relationship though which is why I was sneakily checking out your vid 😘).

I don't think i have the eye signal part down. If i ever get to the point where I'm talking to the guy i do so of your others points naturally. It's just successfully acquiring the target and making the approach that stops me. And i must have the worst sense of who might be interested. Let's say I'm a 6. I've tried talking to guys both higher up and lower on the scale. But i have never been successful in a bar. I have lots of friends who tell me what a nice guy i am. So something is breaking down in the flirting department. Fortunately I'm open to learning. I'll go watch your other videos. Thank you for posting content like this. I definitely need it. 👍👍😘😘👍👍

I'm glad you're enjoying it!! Of course, there's gonna be different skills for different people. If you're a 10, you can rely on your looks... but if you say you're a 6, then you'll have to use that sparkling personality more. That being said... a great personality can hike you up the scale from a 6 to a 10 for sure!! The other person just needs to talk to you a bit.

I’m masc bi guy. Back in the day I told my buddies if they wanted to get drunk for free, just go to a gay bar and let guys buy you drinks. (My buddies didn’t know I was bi). One night we went to a popular gay bar in Atlanta and got smashed. In the ride home one of my friends asked, ‘how did you know that would work?’ I didn’t know what to say so I said ‘just a hunch’. It got weirdly quite the rest of the ride home. Hahahahah Also, I love to hear my name. Especially when he’s begging me to go harder

Patrick, this might be a little confusing but I thought of it this AM before getting out of bed. If you play a flute, you're not called a flutist, you're called a floutist. OK, if you're flirting, are you a flirter or a flouter? I should go after this further, to see if I can straighten my tongue out. Patrick, waking up with thoughts like this could make your head hurt. Well for starters, I am a sometimes flirt or wink at a guys, hoping he catches my interest also, and if I approach him, I would sometimes giggle or smile, if the same chemistry is there, I usually talk w/him or give a little rub on his back or leg, but if we’re at a bar, it usually goes the same way, and I offer to buy him a drink or 2, then I ask him to his place for a romantic evening, sometimes he gives me his contact number, but I sometimes 4 get to keep contact with him after several days, but still on the lookout for my mister right (soulmate)!!!

I've never been all that confident flirting with men, I can do it, but they have to give me some kind of opening...something to help me get started. Oddly, I find it easier, not much, but easier to start conversations with women. I guess, among other reasons, I find it difficult to compliment another guy.

@@PatrickMarano It can happen, if either a person has one of those hard-to-wear names that almost no one gets named (for a reason), or if they have some negative memory with it.
