Never been to a pride before and I’m 29 😣

I'm in my early sixties. But very very very different experience of Pride.over the years. I'm a queer punk - so I was at the Alternative Queer events. From 1987-2001 I was usually involved in the organization of Pride - mainly Entertainment or Disability and marshalling the Parade. I've never been to a circuit party. (So, many stories about Queer Punks/Goths/Skinheads.) The Rainbow Flag is a good representation of the diversity of our community. There are so many different ways to experience Pride that are valid.

I haven't seen it in here so I am going to add it. There are Catholic groups criticizing lgbtq+ for using the word "pride". Why? Because pride is a sin. Just thought you'd like to know.

I remember going to the wrinkle rooms as a youngster when I was 40. Now that I could be a founding father at 64. Hey at least I made it to 64. Just like the Beetle's song When I'm 64 🎵 .

The pride parades now are just like one big advertisement. Miami is my favorite because you can dance on the beach 🏖️ I did see something this year that was a little shocking. Guys were giving each other Molly not by mouth but putting it in their ass lol 😂 Not my thing but crazy how times have changed

One of my favorite over 40's Pride... I'm pushing my Mother in a wheelchair, got my blind neighbor hanging onto my shoulder, and my stoned cousin that is 8 years older than me chasing after the Frito Lay truck that's throwing free chips to the 100,000+ people attending Columbus, Ohio Pride back in 2010 something. It was the best day!!!!!!

Turned 40 this year, so first pride over 40 experience

This weekend will be the first pride of my 40s, so will make the most out of the experience. It's great reaching this point in life. As always: great, funny, informative and sexy video.

Love your talk about being over forty. I remember all of what your saying. Going out to a club, very loud music, guys hitting on you, buying you drinks (never knew how to handle that, as I knew they weren't buying them for me other than to get in my pants) Now its all over, as I have been replaced the the next generation. Really agree with you about the loud music. I think it has been toned down a little most places. It used to be so loud it was atonal. Used to like seeing impromptu street interviews where they asked people the lyrics to the latest screamer song. Either they didn't know or they got it all wrong! Stop the screeching and just give me a good dance beat. Awards shows suck. It's just show people giving awards to their friends! Am surprised at how many bad things get awards. Yea Ambien!!! Did you get to NYC Pride?

It a bitch being an Edsel surrounded by Ferraris How I feel at 60 going to Pride events. The upside... I never get sexually harassed or have to worry about unwanted sexual advances because nobody talks to me (Of course your personal experience might be vastly different)

I like our Pride here in North Carolina, it is in October around National Coming Out Day. Weather is cooler and it's a lot easier to wear leather than at the end of June. Not much into the music or dancing anymore, but I do love going through the marketplace and talking with people and supporting the local gay owned businesses and organizations.

Still a very, very young man (Ok, & hot)..

i´m in my 50 (54) and party still like crazy now i celebrate in the 80´s and teenager i was fighting for the rainbow rights in Belgium we have some of the best laws for LGBTQIA and not the problems with drag queens ore other brothers and sisters like in the US

The locals are not friendly typical French /parisian nasty attitudes and lots of North African /middle eastern and African and not friendly either . I'm considered hot and muscular and desirable in LA and the nasty queens there walk around in circles all night I don't recommend it's a nasty waste of time

Sadly bathhouses are dying off here in the US LA has a dirty drug den left for a bathhouse no one goes too. If I mention bathhouses to young guys here they don't know what I'm talking about they think it's some gay thinh popular back when Friends aired on tv in the 90s. They have no interest in bathhouses they only meet here online in gay apps now.

I've totally accidently attracted a guy because I was loitering. I wasn't cruising & was just genuinely on my phone and accidently caught a cruiser 😂. I also did the same thing in a public restroom. i walked by the guy, made eye contact, and nodded hello. I was headed to the restroom but was actually genuinely actually using it while shopping at the mall. I felt bad when I saw him tapping his foot. I did find him on an app and he asked of i was looking so I ahd to clear it up. I probably would have done it afterwords but it was busy ando was too scared so I told him I changed my mind.

I was a sister on a neurological ward and it was our first experience with the deadly disease. We lost a lot of friends, patients and worked very hard in all the medical trials world wide. Thanks a lot for telling your story. I also had a few rock bottoms, including being raped, heart failure, paranoic episodes, interacting with very dangerous men in very risky situations, losing friends, losing my job, getting several STIs and indirectly related diseases and basically almost destroying my life. For me it was not only with meth but also with MDPHP (monkey dust), which is an even more toxic, dangerous and evil-essensed drug. The journey to recovery has been a lot. I have been sober for 3 months now and still get heavy cravings, wake up in the night from related-to-it nightmares and have several PTSD symptoms. I've had individual therapy, drug counselling, group therapy and support from friends. Loneliness and deppression are such a part of the whole thing. I thank the universe for this experience, for the help I've had access to and to my determination to get out of that hole. Chems are an epidemic that we are not yet conscious of how bad is fucking with us queers. Lots of love and strength for all the people who are being a victim of this mental disease called addiction <3

I’m turning 35, and I’m versatile but now in a relationship with a full top. And whew, the prep time takes so long nowadays!!! I used to be able to prep in 15-20 min…NOW, it might be 2-3 hours 😂

I’m 66 and experienced multiple bereavements during the pandemic, although I didn’t get sick. But I lost all sexual desire. To my horror I discovered, when the pandemic receded and my desire returned, that my penis had shrunk. But I still have desire and feel anxious without body contact. So sometimes I come and sometimes I don’t. And now I experience dry orgasms at times. I’ve had to accept this about my penis and instruct my sex partners to do likewise.
