People that live around here have kind of fooled themselves into thinking that it will not one day be underwater entirely. To be fair, I've been to bars with "Fetish Nights" and they don't do that. It usually consists of playing Adult Bingo where you win Adult Prizes or other games (toys, dolls, etcetera). It's done "in good fun" as everyone jokes around and generally uses it to "hook up". They don't "hook up" in the bar. They don't use the bar as a personal playhouse to use the stuff they win. There's usually a decent drawing of a crowd as well since most people who show up know that they're going to at least get a laugh out of the proceedings or maybe go home with someone else. Basically, bringing in this crap for whips and chains and whatever else... It's no longer a bar. It's an S&M Club. At which point... you SORT OF need city permission for that.

Gloves are actually my BIGGEST PET PEEVE. in theory they are so so good. They make life so much easier when working around food. But people dont change them. They dont wash their hands when they remove them. They are a HAZARD because people cant use them properly
@sh4rkb4it6 ай бұрын
i work in the pre-cut produce area at my local grocery and can confirm - if you practice proper use and disposal of gloves and wash your hands in between each pair you use, it’s fine. but most people don’t do all that, and often it’s cleaner and faster to not wear gloves and just wash your hands routinely. personally, i also don’t like wearing gloves because it takes away from my dexterity and ability to handle smaller objects. i’m constantly wiping my cutting board, knives, and hands with our sanitizing solution, so everything is clean anyways. that’s the thing too - this isn’t to diminish any one part of food safety obviously, but commercial food-prep areas have a good bit of redundancies to ensure there are as few health hazards as is possible.

It would have been so satisfying to see him bring in people from an actually good BDSM space to call out all the things wrong with the shitty kink bar. I get why that might not have been an option and it was still satisfying, but like Yall, I'm no expert, but responsible kink spaces aren't whatever that shit was.

As someone who is in the bdsm community, it is highly inappropriate to hold kink events in places that are not advertised for kink ONLY. I am furious that those people would even think that their personal fantasies can be lived out in another person’s bar, it puts the rest of us in the community to shame!
