I’m just curious as to whether he actually freaks out that badly, or if that’s just part of his act. If John and most of his inspectors are really that big of assholes, it makes me wonder why people would be stupid enough to get them that angry. The worst one in my opinion is the episode where that walk-in cooler has growing mushrooms inside it. To make matters worse, the entire interior of the building had to be decontaminated before someone could go back in. That has to be the worst thing inside a bar that I've ever seen when watching this show.

I think life in prison is a bit over board. I think maybe it would benefit them to have their food license/certification revoked and to take mandatory classes with someone like Taffer who will teach them how to cook properly and practice food safety, cleanliness, and etiquette. The same with the bar too. I know that they do that sometimes before they do their reopening and pressure tests, but it should be longer and harder.

The sad reality is many chefs dont care. They get this mindset of "i havent gotten anyone sick yet, so why stop doing what ive been doing?" Which has 2 problems. The first is that the cook rarely knows if they did or not, the 2nd is that if your doing something wrong, you dont keep doing it until you get caught, thats how you get in serious trouble.

I think the producers film from small cameras and stay out of the way - I can’t see them holding boom mics, so I’m guessing the people being filmed already have mics on. Secondary footage is really common for TV shows - and producers make it seem like the spy cams all happen before they know the show is even there, but that’s not possible. They just keep everyone they’re filming in the dark as much as possible.

That was the most upsetting scene for me. Horses are really sensitive to sound and get spooked easily - and breaking a leg is usually FATAL. We SAW the horse slip and his legs buckle. This is animal abuse and I hope against hope someone followed up on it.
