True! However, the alternative would be stopping the fight and either declaring it a draw, or no contest. I guess sometimes refs make irresponsible decisions for the sake of the fans every once in a while. Yamamiya probably shouldn't have nodded yes though LOL.

+Joe T He escaped by touching the ropes only he passed out before the ref broke them up. It was a rule in Pancrase. You got points deducted and you could only do it like 3 or 5 times. Bas used it too, especially in his first fights.

He fought Ken and Frank Shamrock. But its mostly Japanese because Pancrase comes from Japan. Also the silent crowd is in my opinion, amazing. This way you can actually hear their feet stomping around in the ring, you hear every punch and every detail. I fucking love it.
