Pretty sure that the 2000 number was quoted for the number of crew members aboard the various ships of the fleet (2,000 hearts aboard). This is one ship in that fleet, and the whole narrative in the gameplay is interacting with another one. The only ship verified to be completely lost at this point was the Heraditus. Not necessarily easy to follow, I know, but the literal language of all dialogue and the intros gives one the impression that there are more survivors than just 4 among all the remaining ships. That's where the round of patients are coming from, right?

I'm not sure they thought the day night cycle through, you only get that on a planet, floating around space there isn't one, but the further you get away from a star the less energy you'll get. It seems a lot like planet base with weird connections for power and what not.

I love science fiction games! Well, I love lots of different games, but for awhile, it seemed like everything was fantasy. So this explosion of science fiction games is just what I want to see. Admittedly, most of them don't really appeal to me. But some do. (Shadow Empire has been _great,_ even though I'm not in any way a wargamer.) On the other hand, card games turn me off. Oddly enough, even Shadow Empire has cards, more or less. But... I don't know. It's not quite the same thing. And obviously, tastes vary. It doesn't matter to _me_ what kind of game someone else likes to play. But as a 70-year-old gamer, I remember a time when computer games were very scarce, indeed. These days, I don't even have time to keep up with all of the game news, let alone actually _play_ all of them. It's great! :)

I was THINKING about getting this game, BUT then I looked at the steam news and community page, and oh boy am I glad I did. This game is BROKEN to all hell and back, with people saying as recently as January 2nd, 2022 that once you get past the opening few missions and things start to get a little more demanding. The AI bugs out to the point where the game is UNPLAYABLE because the AI characters dont want to do what you tell them to, they drag their feet when given tasks to complete causing you to lose the game because you cant keep up with the tasks due the AI refusing to work. I'm writing this today 1/26/2022 and NONE of the game breaking bugs in this game have been patched. And there has been ZERO updates with the devs going dark since their last update on steam on August 31st, 2021. If your considering buying this game, DON'T. There are much better space sim games out there that HAVN'T been abandoned by their devs. Just an FYI!

I would assume that since the primary module is fully functional the wires will already have been built into the walls, any further expansion will just connect to existing plugs. That´s how regular buildings are built, you plan ahead for any future electrical wiring. Connecting/arranging wires after building a structure just doesn´t sound very practical.

I remember seeing a few games with similar concepts. The graphics in this are different though, IIRC there was another like this that used pixel graphs only. I do wonder if the life support item could be used to support more than just one module, because otherwise you'll have to build a huge amount of those life support modules...

People want to believe that there is life somewhere out there. They want to believe that perhaps our origins are not from this planet at all. But logic would dictate that if we ever came to this planet, we would have the same means by which to leave, and the fact that we have to build ships to leave, is an indication that we never arrived here in ships, because our origins are of this earth.

Note to developers : the resource distribution system is stupid, you are basically giving up on a very interesting mechanic by doing this, this is how you should have done, corridors should have pipes with valves on them and you should be able to close or open values to let the flow continue, that would create really interesting gameplay opportunities as well, where like movies people can get stranded in places without oxygen etc, further more people transporting boxes of materials to devices that need them is also very interesting to see, further more please donot dumb down the resource management, people playing games like this arent dumb, give us oxygen in litres and power in watt hours etc make the resources more detailed,
