In Texas, U.S.A., where I live, the cost of living is around 43,369.40 PHP for rent, utilities and internet each month. Food costs around 12,000 PHP a month. ($900 USD rent and utilities and $250 monthly food) My entry level annual call center base salary translates to 1,526,330.39 PHP. ($31,680 USD a year) That is how much a lot of American call centers are paying, and they include health, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance options as well as a retirement plan.

My very first basic salary on a call center company was 20,000. But I resigned right after 3 months because of the toxicity of the account, people and environment on that company. Now, I am currently working on my second BPO company, which they offered me a 16K basic salary, but what's funny is that I usually get 25K or more every month because of the good benefits, incentives and allowances of this company.

Nakaka dismaya lang yung sahod, tulad ng sinabi mo mga foreign companies d2 sa Pinas tubong lugaw dahil dollar $$$ kinikita ng company tas unfair naman yung starting salary na 12k pang factory worker skilled worker level... At Demanding masiyado sa skill requirements na hinihingi nila kailangan multi-language para maka sahod ng 25k to 30k, mulat sa katotohanan pasuweldo sa corporation hahaha :(

If it is at least one month of employment na within the year, then yes you are still entitled for 13th month. 😊 But it will still be based on your payroll cut off date kung pasok ka ba sa 1 month. So that's basic pay x 1 month / 12.

Tatanggapin ka naman but you have to secure the requirements as set by the company. You will be required to get NBI clearance, etc (there will be a list of reqs). Much better if you apply na for at least 2 valid IDs ngayon pa lang para di ka mahirapan kumuha ng requirements.

Good morning Edrielle! Allow me to answer your question about "Ideal Salary range". First thing first, If you get asked about your ideal salary range, I recommend you not to answer it proactively. You may say "Salary might have an impact to some applicants but for me, in the meantime, I am focusing on how to get hired first. We both know the fact that every accounts has its corresponding rate to be offered. I think, just do a job well done and if there's a good result, salary will meet my expectation" (just for you to have an idea on how to answer it because if you answer it proactively, it may affect your application as that question is part of the "Behavioral Interview". Just show them that your goal or priority is to to be part of their organization. :) Don't worry, the interviewer would probably ask you the same question and that's the perfect time for you to provide your ideal salary range. Hope this helps!

I almost got hired! But I didn't pass the validation interview :( And the interviewer said that I didn't listen to her instructions well and she always have to repeat the question for me. I know she's right and I didn't focus also. I didn't listen to her during the mock call cos she talked really fast. That's why i had to ask her again the question. Hi Miss Rea. sorry but I have to ask. I was scrolling down to this BPO company’s rates and comments. One comment says that her cousin thought her salary is 16k. She’s been training for 2 months and every salary she gets is only 3500 to 2500...... Im planning to apply to the same company but my concern is why did she only get that amount of salary? Hello, when she said she thought her salary is 16k, is it on her contract? Also, there are a lot of things to consider such as govt-mandated benefits and salary deductions, and/or attendance. So it's not gonna be 8k every payday - though 2500 or 3500 is way below. Maybe around 6k net pay sounds right. Best to confirm this with HR before you accept the offer.

Call center agents in the Philippines think they can speak English. Have you ever talked to one?? 90% of my encounters has been a disaster. They cannot communicate nor express themselves. The thing is.. that's really what a lot of companies are offering now especially to entry level applicants. I suggest you try it first and gain the experience, see how you like it. Besides, it's a seasonal account so it's not going to be up all year. You can always find something better as soon as you're already confident with your skills. All the best!

I do not find this accurate at all, considering that this video was uploaded just a year ago. Based on my personal experience, the lowest basic salary for a call center virgin usually ranges from 15K to 20K, depending on the account. Nowadays, there are companies that offer a basic of 25K or more for tenured agents. However, most companies do not really care about the applicant's tenurity. Some would still offer less than 20K basic pay no matter how tenured you are.

Which part is not accurate? Because your comment is basically the same as what I explained in my video. The salary range is in similar brackets and you mentioned it's also based on your personal experience so although you're right, it can't be entirely applicable to all. There are lots of factors. 😊
