i just tried this watch on today at a local shop. its very substantial to say the least. big, and heavy but you can feel the quality. the movement is dressed well too.

these capeland chronograph are a ton of watch for the money. If you love this watch you are so lucky because they are cheap cheap cheap! Great review although, at the end, you say it's kind of a work-hard play hard watch... I would have to disagree. It's an indoor cat as far as I'm concerned... I mean, sure you can wear it on the weekend with a sweater looped over your shoulders at the Sailing Club... But just walking around it's a little lightweight to be the weekend warrior... hey, but, I'll tell you what... You can get these things for like a quarter of retail and then you could snap up something like an Oris diver and for a couple of grand and change, total, you have an amazing and very usable/ versatile collection. Plus, you don't see either of those watches very often in the wild so it would be a pretty unique feeling to roll around in those two anyway, nice reviews you all! Tim, the rain man of watch review dudes.
