Dang dood I was running an XP deus 2 and was getting a little bit not much and my son in law was using an old junk bounty Hunter 79 dollar you know. Which one little junk thing and he was killing it I mean nine gold rings three necklaces two giant bracelets with diamonds and one huge platinum bracelet that easily went over four ounces.

Always look forward to your videos! I live nowhere near a beach, and it was fun to see your Scotland videos. It seems like dirt detecting is different from lakes or streams, is different from beach. Lots to learn.

Thank you! Dirt fishing is very different. I love it, but it's not very lucrative in South Florida. Everything nearby is very new. Old land is getting harder and harder to find :(

CASPER METAL DETECTING here...big fan why dont you get or make a floating sifter so you dont have to struggle in high shell areas? would save you a lot of time - especially if you can get or make a non metal one
@DetectFlorida
@DetectFlorida Жыл бұрын
The problem is that the current gets strong, and that can be a hazard if its attached to me. Floating sifters are much better suited for river hunters where it stays pretty calm

Nice hunt! And you're right, lifelong White's Surf PI user (they sure do get insane depth) in the saltwater here. For freshwater I'll use either my White's MX Sport or Equinox 800 and for land either my CTX3030 or E-Trac... but with the Pulse machine, if you use it enough, you get pretty good at "sizing up" a target. I'd love to know what camera setup you're using to get such clear sound. Thanks!

I use a GoPro Hero mounted on an elastic head strap. Takes a little getting used to to get the correct camera angle. I still screw it up once in a while and don't aim in the right spot lol

@DetectFlorida

It depends on where you're hunting. There's areas on the east coast where you must have a lease to search the water. State and national parks are off limits unless you have special permission
