I was overwhelmed with some sort of bittersweet feeling and I started crying. It was such a genuine feeling. I used to hate lunges and think push up pulses are impossible. And I did them today and did them good. I am born and bred in an extremely patriarchal city. At a young age, I realized I had a passion for physical workout. I have no doubt that despite being so resilient I would have broke and given up if it weren't for so many writers who wrote amazing, detailed magical stories about impossible women, those movie makers, those social heroines, the impossible doers like Caroline. Thank you so much, Caroline. Now that I have had the taste of it I will never settle for anything less.💪🔥💅💗

BeastMode Friday Full Body! It’s got to be a great workout! I’ve been really looking forward to this one! Looks like a brilliant, varied selection of exercises! I did a long...30 km...walk in the Chiltern Hills yesterday so I’m hoping that my legs cope with the lower body exercises! Enjoy the workout and Have a great weekend everyone! Thank you, Caroline! Matthew PS...just finished...all good! I used 8 kg weights plus my 12 kg kettlebell as I don’t have heavier weights...but by pushing up the tempo I got a good intense workout! Legs OK after my long walk! I did the 4 mins of sit ups straight through with no breaks...just wanted to challenge my abs a bit more! I really enjoyed the add on...I love doing the repeated leg lowers! Have a lovely weekend, Caroline, and everyone and see you for Sunday HIIT! Looks like it’s going to be TABATA which I always enjoy! Hi Jeremiah...I do often go faster but my weights are often lighter than Caroline’s. I just don’t have access to such heavy weights. Today I was using 8 kg throughout so my tempo is faster. Just my way of getting an intense workout even if my weights are not so heavy! Matthew

Yes when I am on lighter weights, I am faster too, just about to hit this one with 10kgs and 10kgs, I will then reduce to 7.5kgs and 7.5kgs.

My mom told that this lesson will help me build very thick strong arms and great confidence! I did this lesson with my mom. It was really hard for me. I used 1 kg dumbbells throughout and stopped midway as my arms just gave up :( Is it very weak? My mom did the full lesson with dumbbells of 10 kgs and 15 kgs

@@rupinjeremiah9589 hi hi. Don't be so hard on yourself. I think I made use of 7kg and 4kg depending on the exercise and how I was feeling. Some days I have more strength and other day not so much. I am trying my best to be the best version of myself. I tried going so heavier, but I noted that if I go to heavy I don't do the exercise right I compromise with other muscles. Take this tip and see if it's working for you... Use you 1kg as long as it takes... Do alot of Caroline's body weight workouts and stretching workouts. You will se progress soon. Enjoy your journey and remember it's You vs You. 💪🏻💪🏻🔥🔥 You've got this.

I will work hard at this. Can I try this lesson again without any weights at all? It is really kind of you to guide me this way. I am sorry to ask you a lot 😟 I want to build self esteem and be independent. When my mom lifts a 10 kgs potatoes bag and puts it on the kitchen table with just one hand I feel so demotivated. I wish I can do that even with two hands.

Did this a few months ago. But if I may suggest... Epic beginner. This helped me so many time. I did go back to beginner more times than I can remember. And every time I saw/felt progress. I know hoe it feels to see someone with more progress or like you say lifting a bag of p with one hand... But remember none of us are the same. Strength comes as you progress. See this as a life changing journey! Respect your own body and rest as well. It's also necessary. Keep in contact. Good luck and remember you started this journey to get stronger...you can do this. Believe in yourself!!! 🥵🔥🥵🔥

I will look at the epic programme you have suggested! I am struggling with the class even with using 1 kg and I cannot do more than 6 or 7 bicep curls with that :( Everyone doing this class is soooo muscular and strong, it is very incredible for me! I want to progress towards being able to lift a bigger dumbbell maybe 2kg and then even trying to be able to workout with mom! I feel weak and demotivated but want to build up and will work on it! I guess it will take many years to achieve muscles and strength like you have? Is a strong diet also something I need?

I did this today with 20kg dumbbells instead of 15kg, which was a mental and physical challenge for me! I started the shoulder press with 2 x 12.5kg and dropped to 2 x 10kg in the 3rd round... I didn't use heel elevation because of the heavier weight I was afraid of being not stable enough.

The shoulder and chest press we're the most difficult exercises for me. The rear step lunge challenged my coordination due to the fact that we held the dumbbell in the opposite hand that we normally do. It was 27 minutes of superior sets and was a cardio workout for me!!

Hi Elena! What dumbbells did you use? I have always been very weak and unconfident and really struggle very much. My mom told that this lesson will help me build very thick strong arms and great confidence! I did this lesson with my mom. It was really hard for me. I used 1 kg dumbbells throughout and stopped midway as my arms just gave up :( Is it very weak? My mom did the full lesson with dumbbells of 10 kgs and 15 kgs

I very much enjoyed this workout! All the moves were managable except for deadstop pushups.. I managed perfect reps the 1st time around, but couldn’t maintain off knees beyond that.. I alrernated a rep on knees and another off.. I was grateful there was no squat to presses😅 Happy friday!

This was powerful , the deadstop lunges were an awakening 🤣🔥Because of focused and compound moves I'm seeing quicker changes ,gaining more strength and definition ❤️❤️❤️ in the beast mode series

I'm so glad I decided to do these workouts every second day!😅 This one was quite intense, but compared to what we did last in day 1-3 at least we had a chance to rest a bit between upper and lower body movements. It's hard getting back into training this intensely, but it is slowly getting a bit easier. Thanks a mill, Caroline!

Whew! Loved today 🥰 usually when we do all the leg exercises first, I tend to think ‘when will this part end’ (which is good honestly, but my brain just likes to complain) but now because they were spread throughout it was way less frustrating/discouraging that way. Thoughts: - I managed to do all 4 sets of renegade rows! 🥳 when I started this journey in May I couldn’t even do 10 seconds of them - somehow the shoulder press was the hardest? I was surprised by how that one had me struggling - the elevated dead stop lunges were 🔥 the stretch 🥵 looooved it - my push ups are still 💩 but I’m improving and that matters!

The odd thing is all this week the sessions have passed seemingly very quickly, at the end before you realise, this one seemed to go slower 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤔. All my favourites included. does anyone else’s hands hurt sooo bad when doing renegade rows? The dumbbell really pushes into the palms of my hands and it hurts so bad ... I just pushed through it but I was wondering if anyone has a way to get around that?

I use a yoga block in the middle of the dumbbells and alternate sides

Just do half time on one hand on flor then drag db to other hand or alternate one set just one side and the other set on the other side - switch

Same here, I just use one dumbbell, constantly switching sides. My dumbbells are round so I can't even manage to put my hand up without crashing my face into the floor😂

@@rupinjeremiah9589 you want to choose a weight that lets you do approximately 8-12 reps (depends on time frame too). As it becomes easier, then you up your weights. I’ve been working out consistently for 15 years but following Caroline for 2 years. So when I did first start working out, I was using 3-5lb. I have worked my weights up and range from 3-40lb depending moves I’m doing, and they change depending it’s it’s a program like Fuel Series, I would use lighter than my normal. And if it’s Beastmode or Iron Series, I am able to lift heavier.

I will work hard at this. I can do 6-7 bicep curls with 1 lb dumbbells and then my arms just give up. Can I try this lesson again without any weights at all? It is really kind of you to guide me this way. I am sorry to ask you a lot 😟 I want to build self esteem and be independent. When my mom lifts a 30 lbs potatoes bag and puts it on the kitchen table with just one hand I feel so demotivated. I wish I can do that even with two hands.

@@rupinjeremiah9589 you could also try her calisthenics program. It’s a one week program and body weight only. If I recall the epic beginner is also no weights.

New Workout , New Gains, Fullbody Friday was Super. Today I used 17.5kgs, I decided not to drop for shoulders On a fullbody day shoulders were difficult with 17.5 but managed 15 Reps on all 4 so was well chuffed. Another hot day her in NI so I was wringing after. Lovely wee workout 💪to bring the Beast out 😉 Enjoy. Happy weekend Everyone, Happy weekend Caroline enjoy the sun 🌞

Hi Anthony...well done! I enjoyed this one too! Your weights were more than double mine today as I used 8 kg! But then I did walk 30 km up and down the Chiltern Hills yesterday! It’s been hot and sunny here again today. Just been into Reading to see a couple of my old PhD students for lunch. I hadn’t been into central Reading since before the first lockdown. Your just awesome! I am a mom of 5 been into fitness and love love love how I can workout at home and you play music the whole time.
