It’s hard to believe but there was a time when buying a well-optioned pickup was cheaper than a comparably equipped passenger car. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. 😱 Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍

I ordered a truck from Ford in 74...$3800, posi, 4x4, V8, 4spd, short bed and 2 gas tanks. We had it for 20 years. I hated to sell it but I moved to So Cal and there was no place to park it....sold it for more than I bought it....

Shouldn't the tires be called "General Grabiod" on a Tremor? 😅 I am so addicted to your off-road reviews, Sarah. If that other famous car-reviewer - the one with the auction site 😉- tested this car, he'd only take it for a spin in normal trafic and would not even include exterior shots and I would probably not bother looking at the review. You do it the proper way and as have been pointed out a milion times by now, your's are the best car reviews on the KZbin. You make every car interesting by showing what they really are capable of. Thank you for what you do and Stay Awesome!

I had a '79 Chevy short bed 4wd with a small block 400. Best, most fun truck ever.......and a great looking truck. Just a flick of the wheel and it would kick the back end out and power slide for days. Easy to drive, comfortable, good off road, the perfect truck. Best part was no computers, no buttons you have to press to get it do do god knows what. Just a good, stout, nicely performing truck. I would take that truck over ANY, and I mean ANY new truck. Keep your independent front suspension and computer controlled nonsense. I'll take my solid axle, off road beast any day of the week.

Hey Sarah, 80 K is a bit crazy my brother bought a 2023 Silverado hairy cardboard in the front wells. Nothing in the rear bare paint. Got in the back to go to dinner and I said why the hell is this so loud my 19 is way quieter. That’s when he told me about no rear liners and no bedliner either. so I told him to order the rear hairy cardboard. I think it was about 180 bucks easy enough to install except they didn’t give you all the hardware and what a difference much quieter absolutely amazing for 60 grand that wasn’t included but I’ve seen quite a few Toyota, Ford and Chevrolet it’s just not coming standard my 2019 Silverado came with front and back liners and bedliner and I think that was about 48K. Based models and modifications make more sense than ever keep leading the way have a great one🐧🐧🐧👍

Sarah! Great review of the 2024 F-150 Tremor! That Coyote V8 sounds amazing, and it's awesome to see how capable this truck is both on and off-road. The tech features like the onboard scales and that origami tailgate are pretty cool too. I love how you balance the pros and cons - the off-road performance and comfort sound stellar, but that price tag is definitely up there! Your idea about offering a Tremor package on a base XL 4x4 makes a lot of sense. It'd be awesome to have those off-road goodies without breaking the bank. Keep up the awesome reviews, always look forward to your thorough and entertaining content!

I agree, just do an XL. The base 4x4 still has a rear locker or at least the 2020 I was using as a pumper truck in the oil field did. I'd definitely look at softer shocks if you go that route since the lower trim package will rattle your teeth out of your skull if you try to carry any speed on a bumpy road but you'll get more or less the same capability for ALOT less money.

Also: cloth interior, no center console, no heated seats/steering, minimal cameras, no HUD, limited colors, no keypad on door, no push-button start, no fancy tailgate, no fancy headlights, and maybe a dozen other little niceties just plain ain't options.
