I disagree with the notion of sasha being a stally CO, i think shes the most agressive T1 CO because her income lets her cheat out the first tank of the game that she will try to use to secure contested proprieties,letting her snowball out of control, on an equal or close to equal number of vehicles her vanilla units will start to lose to T1 day to days and as you mentioned,her power will charge slower everytime it pops,and she'll eventually start losing really hard if javier or hawke manage to sneak a COP in ,so she's encouraged to get out of control nice and early

I like your opinion but would like to comment that. In standard games It's true that sasha is able to play aggressive before here opponents but the issue there is that the extra income isn't that big in the early stages of the game and at the point of which you built your first tank your opponent should be able to afford a counter tank or a mech in smaller maps, but still in FOW an aggressive sasha might be great due to the lack of info and preparation on the opponent side.

Fair point Rader, I guess it can depend on playstyle and CO you're against, if I'm vs Hawke typically I'm more aggressive so I can end the game before he can pop SCOP. But I've also had great success vs VB or Javier, by playing more conservatively at first and then doing a midgame push. Strangely, I've also noticed Sasha tends to play more aggressive in fog...can't really explain that and it may be purely anecdotal.

Never use Sasha in high funds. Don’t. You can’t stall CO powers in high funds if they can reach them using damage dealt on their turn, and your income boost doesn’t scale.

Possible but very unlikely, Von Bolt’s troops are as powerful as Sasha’s during her power but every day winning crucial property contests for those all important HF income. Von Bolt’s super is just really easy to farm in HF, if Sasha pops power at the start of her turn just to get stat parity with normal VB, VB’s power will be charged. If Sasha holds power until end of turn to deny any power charge, a few bomber and neotank engagements will inevitably charge it up. When VB gets power Sasha is just unable to counterattack vs +20% atk/def units without mauling herself especially on terrain if her main heavy hitters survived or can even move that turn.

Hey Deejus, love the videos, they explain a lot. There is one thing however you should know regarding Sasha. I'm currently playing her in a Sasha vs Sami matchup on Wall of Flesh (HF) and it is not a 10% increase to funds flat, it is a 100 gold. I know you probably noticed yourself, but the way you speak of it in your video might lead to confusion. Keep up the good work!

It's probably because his meteor, like Bolts power, is less useful in FOW. In Std their powers are much more useful.

Gotta say it's really interesting how the availability of tier 1 Cos in A game makes it much harder for a player to chose his Co where he starts to think, should I play to counter sasha or play a Co with big Scop, how many com towers are on the maps? And can they be rushed? Are globale damage cos viable on this map? And if so can I counter them with hawk powers? Or play the safe choice of Von bolt. There is even a solid argument in picking lash or Adder to counter sasha if you know that your opponent is a Sasha main. All in all it make it way harder to pick the right Co due the Manny possible match ups and how they affect the overall game. Funny enough once you have tier 0 COs you literally forget about all the other tiers, it's halerious how busted the top guys are.

I always struggle with this tier, but after this I'll have to give it a try. I'm still getting the gist of tiers 2 to 4 with great results after learning about them on this videos (but still getting huge mistakes). I remember having a game vs Javier once and the first thing I did was getting both commtowers (they were contested) and the moment I succeeded he resigned. I was able not only to get both before him, but also have the proper defense available. And once playing on Tier 0 I took Javier just for laughs and my rival used Grit, he was a high ranker so I thought It'd be nice to see if even with that handicap I was able to do anything... the moment he realized I got the commtower he resigned so... That's all my experience on this tier. Yhanks for the videos!! It's nice to be able to learn about this with you and Mangs. Keep up the good work!!

Nice video keep the good work bro, I just have one comment regarding 2v2 matchups which aren't that popular between players but alas. The thing is that sasha can easily be considered a tier 0 or a must pick in the case of 2v2 games or free for all games as the more players there are the more broken her power is, the same argument is true for all global damage cos, also after some testing in 2v2 maps I found that Javier is quite the solid picks mainly because these maps have about 3 to 4 com towers and with the right support of your teammate it should be easy to grab for you.

In ffa if there are no « original » T0 ban, most of them are stronger than Sasha, maybe she is kinda on the same spot as sturm (and grit in a way) where all of them are too strong to be considered T1 but too weak to be considered as a real T0

Hi Deejus just wanted to say I'm really enjoying your videos and I've watched all of them! Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see your next video. I'd be interested to see what your opinion is on the standard tier list in a future video. I'm new to the competitive advance wars scene so I was really surprised to see eagle and max in tier 2, I felt as though both of these CO's were tier 1. I would personally pick Max over Hawke on a small map and eagle over von bolt on a larger map with an airport.

There have been two ocasions where I have denied Javier players access to both of the com towers, and they wasted so much time and units trying to get it back that they forgot to take care of other sections in the map. Once I fought against Von Bolt using Sasha, and although the match was 30 days long, he could never use his super power.

@@DeejusProductions Hey, would you recommend using Sasha in 1vs1 Verdun? I'm about to start a FoW Match and I can choose Tier 1 COs, and it looks like my opponent really likes Hawke. But the map feels a little small, so I don't know if her CO Power and D2D would work well in this scenario.

I recently started global league because of you. I would like to say that as someone who has played Sonja 200 times in AWBW, I know that little loss damage due to bad luck can really be painful over the course of the match. I havent played much of any other COs to be making an informed statement about them, but I will say that even 10% day to day firepower bonus is a huge thing. You're analysis of Hawke (with com tower) being able to guarantee 2 shotting a mirror unit on a city sounds really nice to have. I have played Sasha against Vonbolt once for Global League in Field of the Dead(Fow). Thanks to your video about transports, I was able to get ahead in the capture game. I have noticed that I was playing aggressive rather than stall. I tried to press my tech-up advantage hopefully before my opponent techs themselves (even going for a megatank after seeing 2 opposing medium tanks. My opponent resigned before I could use it). Maybe it only applies to smaller maps with less income, but I would think Sasha is played aggressively to press her tech advantage to secure an even greater income advantage against other COs her tier.

I don't agree with your comment about Javier not being good on verdun (or maps with contested comm towers in general). He pretty much hard counters gritt which is very annoying to play against on that map and a contested comm. tower, since the comm towers are only contested mid-game (unless you're playing vs sasha), can essentially just function as a second HQ, i.e. you pretty much win if you get the second comm tower which needs not be the case if you're playing as other COs. If you pop your COP, they can't interrupt your caps with indirect units, so they need to either break through your walls with 20% defense and +40% defense vs artillery, which is going to be neigh impossible and can be easily punished with a solid counter attack. You beat Von Bolt because your COP and SCOP are better and you beat most other COs, because you only need to control the center area to win as opposed to getting all the way to their bases, which won't be too hard to do with Von Bolt stats. Sasha might pose a bit of a threat because she can poop out early tanks and recons, but since you're forcing her to the center that does allow for some counterplay, like giving you the opportunity to control the corners and you also still have that your artillery walls are more effective than hers. Can't promise the game won't be boring since it's almost like you're playing with CO powers off lol. I do think you're right about Javier being good on maps like serenity since if they could somehow manage to get all the way to your comm tower on that map, they probably could've captured your HQ thrice by then, but on maps where comm towers are situated closer to the HQ, not only is their value of being a second win condition almost completely diminished, but they can more easily turn failed HQ rushes into succesful ones vs Javier since you essentially turn him into a trash CO then.

What's your opinion on Sasha vs lower tier COs? I feel that she is kinda weird because her power hurts Bolt and Hawke easily but there's certain COs that have don't have to worry about that like Max or Kindle. Her 10% extra income becomes irrelevant against those COs I believe.

I think she's pretty broken vs lower CO's since she essentially gets 10% more units by virtue of her day to day and her opponents other than say, Adder, will take forever to pop their powers. Max could be an interesting matchup depending on the map size, but on most maps ultimately I think the 10% units is too much

If you have a stronger capture game than sasha, you pretty much nullify her strengths and then some. You only need 1 property per 10 properties sasha has to match her income, so on smaller maps where there's proportionally a lot of early game contested properties I think Max and Sami fare really well against Sasha (Sami on caustic finale is REALLY good, and Max gets close). Kindle is pretty much T1 on maps like a hope forelorn (feel free to name any if you know more examples) and has a pretty good mu vs Sasha on that map. I never play adder vs higher tier COs so I actually wouldn't know how he'd do against her, but he's got the fact that sasha generally wants to pop her COP at the end of her turn (before buying things) going for him, so in a sense her COP is pretty much worse than Sonja's COP without fog, since Sasha won't do anything with the 10% attack buff she gets from her power (otherwise she might end up giving you your COP). Now this is true for her against other COs as well, but versus adder she has even less wiggle room to benefit from the 10% attack buff. There's that and the fact that you're going to pretty much be a better Von Bolt against her in the late game.

@@KGafterdark Yeah, you pretty much win if the Sasha player is not able to match your caps early on. If there's any chain cities(cities that are next to each other) and you prevent that cap chain, it's already over. Early recons shut Sasha down hard. If they're up against someone with a fast power or good D2D in any tier, they can't catch up.

20x20 or larger would qualify as large, but it really depends, sometimes sea tiles can take up a large portion and fighting isnt present there. You sort of have to eyeball it and compare to other maps

@@rubiord1922 Hawke loves big maps where the game will last longer and he can reach his SCOP before dying to day to day bonuses. The safer the properties the better hawke is and the worse von bolt is. Hawke is also better in HF than in standard as shown in the tier listings

I just dont get it +10atk +10def on every single unit on day to day, is equivalent to 1 city's gold income at best I understand that market crash is annoying to deal with but that it...
