Let me preface by saying; I’m a guy...With that; I’m only 3 minutes in and found my mind naturally wondering, Why the hell can’t men be this specific and detailed when explaining these motions.🤣🤣🤣...Hands down THE best explanation and detailed instruction on clubbells I’ve seen so far.

Its a real problem. Here's my theory: Those with a natural kinesthetic intelligence don't need the explanation. They see & do. Mirror neurons or something. The rest of us n3ed it broken down to each detail, & take 6 months to learn a movement that takes them 6 minutes. But they don't know, can't know, what that's like.

@@SummerHuntington sadly, the only mace i could get for the moment due to shortages (and lack of space; i can't get tons of equipment) is a 9kg one (i didn't really have the choice of starting with a lighter one as i should) the exercises you show on your channel are out of reach for that weight (i weigh 70kg myself) and my level. but as i'm trying to get the basics on without injuries, your explanations and breakdowns of fundamentals are exactly what i need following your program'll have to wait for some time... again, a very big thank you

Bought my first mace. Since I can easily do an 8kg one hand club bell, I went for a 10kg. What a terrifying beast it is. it's like juggling a fire truck, but I am not sending it back, I am mastering if it takes forever. This channel will help.

You have put the effort into a higher quality video and it shows, audio, lighting, cameras are on point. Technical content is clearly explained in a way that newbies can grasp. Unfortunately to my Dyslexic mind all the terms become bewildering, yet seeing the clearly defined waypoints is very beneficial (I’m a visual learner). It’s funny I almost sheared off the the sprinkler head in my bedroom apartment, my wife kicked me outside (don’t blame her😜). I live in Ohio…it’s 10 degrees F. and dark. Your smile and style gives me hope and for that I thank you. No reply required

I recommend pivoting the feet while performing the mill.

We recommend finding rotation in the thoracic spine, versus pivoting the feet. Increases mobility and ankle durability.

Do you recommend using a 2lb club as a warmup before moving to a mace or can I start out with a light mace (assuming a mace has more uses long term).

So I have been having some issues figuring mills out. I feel like the onnit steel clubs are just a little too short\stubby. Do you think it I could use my 7lb mace instead to work on these?? Just maybe slide my grip up the mace a little bit??
@whyukraine5 ай бұрын
Aha! found it.
@chrishenty-clark17542 жыл бұрын
Do you tend to mostly do mills from outside circle as you demo here? Or also complete from inside circle? I’m just learning and find the mill from inside circle awkward, but from outside feels natural.
@SummerHuntington2 жыл бұрын
I do both inside and outside, however it is true that outside feels more natural due to natural throwing patterns.

Thanks - Interesting. So, for the club bells 2-3 times per week and how many each session? Maybe 5 each side for a week or two then progress to 10? I think I will start with Indian clubs and progress to the 5lb clubs.
