***Continued from below*** As for me, I'm a Christian and I wear makeup every day! I think it's perfectly acceptable for women to enhance their features with makeup! However, there some Christians out there who are terribly against it because it alters one's natural appearance. The Duggar's modesty quirks and idiosyncrasies led me to wonder if perhaps they felt that way, too. I think it's great that they wear makeup! I just didn't know they did until this episode.

And about courting, its not popular today but in the early that was how it worked. They are truely happy about their granddaughter, and I do not like that fact that everyone is against them having so many kids. No, no, no, I wasn't saying that the girls SHOULDN'T wear makeup, I was just saying that I was surprised they did, given their obsession with modesty (e.g. long, ankle-length skirts only, extreme one-piece bathing suits only, no sleeveless tops, no short hair, etc.). I just thought surely makeup would be on the do-not-wear list because, let's face it, makeup is meant to enhance a woman's appearance and it seems like the Duggars are against that kind of attention.
