I’m looking to buy trek 2013. Is it expensive to own it ? Where can I service it in Melbourne ...?

Go on the Australian Benelli Australian fb group and talk to Rolf Wittwer he is an expert at the 1130 in regards to Serving, turning, parts and overall reliability of the bike

You've got a good one there mate. Fully adjustable forks and radial front brakes. Once the little electrical and engine issue are sorted you'll find it hard to sell.. I've had mine since Sep 2017 and even with a few 'blips' she's not going anywhere.. And yes the side stand bolt may snap one day .. mine did luckily I was next to it at the time . Although yours looks like the upgraded one by the colour of it 👍. Ride safe ✌

Rick Gradden Yes I do love the bike , the handling , looks , power & seat comfort. It’s the BEST handling bike iv ever had by far. But will probably not keep it long term. I will probably trade it next year on the new Yamaha 900 Tracer GT or the Moto Guzzi V85. I do like Italian bikes. I also own a SWM & had a Ducati Scrambler.

@@itsallabouttheridekeepingi4449 aye those mt09's have a strong engine for sure and with this year's electronics upgrade they are indeed a good choice . The Guzzi is an interesting option too. I rather fancied the 2019 MV800 turismo veloce ..

Pity there has been a few warranty issues, they are such a great looking bike, and I have heard that people who have them love them.

MR TPR Yes I did know about there issues prior to buying, but one of the most comfortable and best handling bikes iv ever owned

This days, the common problems of this bike are very well documented. A good set of cables, Tunecu software and you can get 15 km/lt wich is very acceptable.

Benelli tractor Chile tnt trek yes I agree after 2 years and the common mods ( unfortunately most don’t know how to do this )

it's funny man... like you said, there are dudes that can't fathom 7.5k in 6 months and others wonder why the hell the bike wasn't ridden enough. haha. I recently sold my F800 and the potential buyers were from both schools. Some upset that it had 28k, others asked if I had problems with it to have such few miles. haha. The ole switch relay snafu. When your relay went out did it just not stop the motor or the opposite, not let the motor stay running?
@itsallabouttheridekeepingi44495 жыл бұрын
Didn't stop the motor , just wouldn't cut the motor when stand was down with bike in gear. My last road bike was a Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport I had 42,000kms on it after 4 years. I ride almost every weekend.

@@itsallabouttheridekeepingi4449 nice. ya my last bike wouldn't allow the motor to stay running when u out the kickstand up. I pulled the relay and jabbed it full of copper wire to complete the circuit. I then taped it up and let it be. Sold it that way after 8 years. Hahaha.

Good review mate. I've been checking out these bikes too. I like the looks, and I like Italian bikes: I've had two. These seem to be cheap second hand; so it looks like the resale is not so great.

Gary Cochrane yes mate not a well known bike in Australia. But best handling bike I have EVER had . And very comfortable to ride .

Maybe the most beautiful bike ever.. At least for me.. I am between this bike an the TRK X.. I 'afraid' a little bit that TREK need a lot of petrol.. How much petrol 'drinking' every 100km?Almost...
@itsallabouttheridekeepingi44495 жыл бұрын
vagelis koios on a 20lt tank you would get 250kms max . Some owners have had theirs Duno tuned - some info put a request into Aussie Benellli Riders ( lots of fantastic info and rides with heaps of knowledge)

@@itsallabouttheridekeepingi4449 So she's like to drink :) But I can imagine that this bike give you an amayzing performance with a lot of power.. Its a very beautiful bike.. I will buy the TRK X who is also beautiful and she doesn't drink a lot.. Of course low power but its OK.. Thanks for your answer mate

vagelis koios no problems “ don’t buy a 1130 Trek for fuel economy “ but it’s the best handling bike I have ever owned

Hi mate :) how are you? You still have the bike? I bought the trk 502 x but I will sell it and i will buy a trek 1130.. Do you have problems till now? I found it in a very good price.. 2010 model.. 18000 km for 3200 euro.. Cheers
Lukasz Jaskulski Yes it does have its Italian reliability issues , in saying that best handling bike iv ever owned , it’s light , nimble and comfortable unfortunately not the most reliable and drinks like a fish . I gave a 1050 Tiger Sport had it for 45,000km and only problem was the fuel gauge stated playing up before I sold it ( apparently a common issue ) didn’t do all the way to the top when full
@vageliskoios10624 жыл бұрын
Triumph overall not the most reliability brand as well.. Look the tigers 1050 2007-2010..A lot of problems..

@@itsallabouttheridekeepingi4449 Hi, interesting to hear about the fuel gauge issue on the tiger, I have one and a few weeks ago filled up with petrol, the gauge went up about two thirds only! I didn't realise that it was a regular fault with the 1050. Other than that I really love the bike. Cheers.
@itsallabouttheridekeepingi44493 жыл бұрын
@@TheSteps62 yes mine had 46,000kms when I sold it and that was the only real issue I had ( it’s a common fault ) apparently it’s something in the tank like the fuel float level - was also a fault in previous and latest model as well . All bikes have some issues, luckily the 1050,s is a minor one ☝️
