they priced the 14th gen to compete with 13th gen, so you can get 13th gen, but it will probably be more expensive than 14th gen, atm...you do get a higher clock speed and a cpl more efficiency cores, I believe...

if you're playing a competitive shooter, I wouldn't get a monitor bigger than 27in as the bigger the monitor the more you need to turn your head. most recommend more fps and lower pixel (1080p) over higher pixel (1440p and 4k) and the lower fps (this is only for competitive shooters). I'd get a 280+hz 1080p oled. However if you really want 1440p or 4k I'd still go 280+hz oled for the more "pretty" games like cyberpunk etc.

If you’re planning to stream then yeah, typically you’d want more than 8 cores. For just gaming, 8 cores is fine though. You’ll probably still be able to stream decently though, just not perfectly.

Because the 3D stack has to be cooled in order to be used or parked. Higher clock speeds are not ideal over temps on them.
