I suffer from Muscle Spams especially in back upper back /lats and (been improving thanks to lifting) bas posture and ive been lost in terms of how to effectively work out my back to strengthen it, as per doctor recommended. And this video just hits like this is exactly what my back has been needing, so thank you!

Have you seen Menno's version of that rope lat exercise? They are called lay prayers, you should check it out for some full lat ROM

I have the same situation with my shoulder. I was doing some heavy push downs and something popped in my shoulder. So now I really can't do any pressing motions, but I do flies with a very limited range of motion. I go back as far as I can. If I go too far back it hurts. So I try to stop just before that. That's what you have to do as your recuperating. It's time goes on I hope that I can increase my range of motion without pain.

Been playing a lot of modern Quake successors on PC & the music has been glorious. Highly recommend Dusk, Strafe or Amid Evil soundtracks. Also Rick of Rain 2 is my fav workout soundtrack now.

Any advice for lat training with dumbells & barbells only? I have a home gym and dont have a cable stack yet so all I really do is pullovers and rows for lats, and I feel like they're a weak point now.

When training back I find that I hit my arms out of fatigue and maybe doing the movement wrong, should I just throw on straps or are there other fixes for bicep incorporation?

Straps fixed it for me. Also, holding/squeezing at the end of the concentric part helps tire out the back without much bicep involvement.

Try not wrapping your thumbs around the bar or whatever you're gripping when doing back movements, imagine your hands are just hooks and that you are pulling with your elbows not your hands.

I’ve been ignoring back day all year. So disappointed. Here in California still have a mask mandated and I haven’t made a routine with what I have at home. Kinda funny I did back for the first time yesterday. Not including deadlifts or squats. But I feel those only count a little

No disrespect but your technique on wide grip pull-ups is not right 1) you pull up with your arms not your back 2) your head should go over the bar and the bar should be touching the chest 3) you have to pause at top 4) you not going further down need a further range of motion to get the full stretch 5) watch Arnold and Frank have they do wide pull ups 6) I've always advocated using the assisted pull up machine as you can concentrate on using your back muscles to do the pull up

These are good for u not for everyone also (medium grip is so good and effective for lats not wider grip)wide grip is works terese major ,wider grip is not good for shoulder its gonna hurting you . And these are facts stop tellin ppl what they have to do.
