I am a "woman of a certain age," 61, to be exact, so, much, much older than you, nevertheless, it is good to be able to get such wonderful information from an grown woman, rather than the vast number of beauty KZbinrs who are 18 to 22, or so it seems to me. LOL. You are so refreshing, and interesting, and fun, and beautiful, and so freaking intelligent! I love your videos. I drink up your teaching like dehydrated skin does Hyaluronic Acid.:) Here's wishing you Happy New Year, from Texas ❤️

The Ordinary has me wanting more ! I bought the Niacinamide and Vitamin C cream (really does tingle!), after you recommended them to me a while back. As a black woman who suffers from hyper pigmentation, I've definitely noticed a small but significant change on my skin tone evening out, all within a little over a month. I think when I get a good balance with my regimen, the results will be even grater. I've been hearing and reading about Paula's Choice, she also has a good range of travel size products which is how I prefer to introduce new products into my skincare regimen anyway(also because they don't break the bank lol). Thanks again Nadine and happy new year ! :)

Happy New Year Nadine! You are by far my biggest beauty find of 2016! So glad I found you via Pixiwoo. Hi Nadine, I've recently come across your channel via pixiwoo and you are my new obsession. As others have said, your honest and unbiased reviews are so refreshing. I am a Beauty Therapist of 16 years and love hearing other opinions on things. I was wondering if you had time to do a video on common anti-ageing skin care ingredients and their benefits. Almost an educational one in laymen's terms. Especially now with the hype about The Original Skin care. I think a lot of people hear about retinoids, vitamin A, vitamin c, HA, aha's, peptides, etc but not many people actually know what they are, what they do, and how you use them. I think your lovely, friendly approach could really educate people and help them to make better choices with skin care. Massive thanks again for all your videos and have a great 2017. Sam x

Nadine everytime I watch your videos I've got a list of products I have to try out. Thank you for all your hard work! I have to spread the word! I've just recently cured my painfully itchy dry scalp/dandruff. I couldn't leave my hair go two days without washing before it got incredibly itchy. I tried a combination of Udo's omega oil and Dead Sea Spa Magik Mineral Shampoo. I took two tablespoons of the oil a day and shampooed as normal. It took me roughly 2 months but is so worth it! Now I just have to keep it up. Can I ask for some advice for my mom. She has never had a skin care routine and is now in her 50s. I am trying to encourage her to cleanse her face before she lathers herself with moisturizer. Her skin is as thick as leather now and she has deep set wrinkles across her forehead. She does have slight red pigmentation on her cheeks and around the nose. Would the ordinarys hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C products be a good combination for softening her wrinkles and overall skin? And what would you recommend for someone like her, who wont spend time on a routine? I'll have to do it for her haa. Would there be a cheaper dupe for Paula Choice 10% AHA body lotion? I've got dry patches on my legs, elbows and bum for sure! Also where did you get your jumper? I hope you won't say years ago! Have a healthy, happy and badass 2017! I plan to by finishing my degree, then I can buy all these amazing products you recommend. Niamh xx

Hi Nadine, firstly thank you for your hard work and sharing all the info with us viewers. Secondly, happy new year! Lastly, I'm just reporting and supporting Paula's Choice, especially the acne treatment (kit trial), as I found them to work for me from the start, I am AMAZED! I've been on it for a week and seeing great results, so I'll move onto bigger bottles soon. I'll be adding The Ordinary in the coming weeks, still need to do some reading and decide which ones I'm able to layer with PC. In terms of makeup I'm moving towards cruelty-free brands and feel sad at Clinique for selling in China (animal testing - only found out yesterday) when I got a bunch of new stuff from them recently plus the other things I've accumulated over time. Looking forward to hearing your new year's reviews on great products. Xxx

Love you Nadine, so natural and always great choice of products, so good that i am always tempted and do buy at least one of your temptations.i have also purchased the Ordinary range and think it is equally good to much more high end serum/retinol products. I will def repurchase. Victoria Health also have a guide on what to use am/pm which helpful for new users. I think that it was You who tempted me to buy the gorgeous Dyson hairdryer... my treat pre Xmas and I bought it from boots when it was a triple point day so I saved about £60. I have thick shoulder length wavy hair and it's certainly much easier to blow dry, tho I need to still ' brush up' my blow drying skills. I can't believe I am saying this but I no longer dread washing/drying hair as it's so light to use, easy to change the nozzles ....pricey but really worth it if you have problematic hair! Thank you Nadine for all the blogs, fabulous x

I'm so excited to have found you via Caroline Barns, love the information about the Ordinary Brand. I'm 56 soon to be 57 in April and I have always tried to take the best care of my skin, right now with the Canadian winter my skin is so dry, especially around the eyes. I love Clinique as a brand, but lately I have been using Sunday Riley, I'm loving the change and my skin is too, but it's so expensive! I go through Good Genes far too quickly, so thanks for the info on Ordinary, I'm going to look into it.
@NadineBaggott7 жыл бұрын
Welcome - isn't Caroline fabulous? I am 54 so totally get your skin concerns ... I love Good Genes but it is so £££ - Ok so The Ordinary is Canadian and you could try their Azelaic Acid in place of Good genes - also at those prices why not try their Vitamin C 23% and their Retinol 2% ... I don't usually tell people to buys lot of products but they are so cheap and have such a good level of actives , what's not to love? X

Omg ! I couldn't get the gel heel socks from the M&S link for the U.S but I found a dupe on Amazon. I cannot believe how crazy good they are ! I received them and put them on soon as I got home and even within a couple of hours my heels were softening. So I wore them overnight and they were so soft and tender like a babies butt that I almost couldn't walk on them lol ! I did not even put any type of cream or lotion on first ! One tip I'd like to share is that I pulled my regular slouchy house socks over them. This kept my toes warm and will probably help extend the life of them and keep them a bit cleaner than if I just wore them around the house. Thank you so much for reviewing them Nadine !!💜

Peace.Love.Vegetables be careful The ordinary has broken me out, my own faul I didn't introduce them one by one so no idea which one or all of them are to blame. There is a guide but it's general & doesn't mention sensitive skin 🤔

Jane Burke I only had a little bit of stinging with my first application. I am sure it was the vit c. When I washed it off I felt better. I agree that the instructions are vague and I would like to see more information. Maybe if you introduced each one separately you would find which one is the culprit. I have been ok using the products as listed. I hope you are able to get past the issues and see some results from these amazing products. The only ones that look to be problematic are the lactic acid and the vitamin c. Good luck.

I second your positive comments concerning The Ordinary Vitamin C 23%. I have been using other Vit C products for many years and have definitely seen a reduction in my pigmentation. However, after finishing one tube of The Ordinary Vit C my pigmentation is about 50% less visible again. I was astonished at how quickly it worked! It is not a beautiful, 'elegant' cream as it feels gritty and greasy and tingly but the results I enjoyed were very impressive.

Just ordered a couple of The Ordinary skin care items, fingers crossed it suits me. I need skin care products for anti-ageing, sun-damage and acne scarring 😟 I also have breakouts still...what happened to only having spots in your teens! I really hope it's not too rich for me, I try to use rich creams sparingly because of the breakouts, and tend to stick to gel moisturisers on a daily basis, and a richer lotion maybe three times a week at night...it was working but my skin is visibly ageing, and I need more! Thanks Nadine 😘
@NadineBaggott7 жыл бұрын
Hi Clare Ok so I would recommend the retinol for at night, every other night with the Azelaic Acid, maybe even the vitamin C, one every third night, and then the HA during the day, under your gel moisturiser - avoid heavy creams at all costs until your skin clears X

Thanks for your always real & honest videos Nadine - very much appreciated. 2 quick questions - do you cleanse in the morning & if so, which cleanser? I've always been one to just splash water as there's no make-up to remove. & with regard to the Ordinary buffet - their website suggests using it before HA but I think you said you use it after - I use HA & would like to start buffet but want to make sure I use it correctly!

I really like the Laura Mercier ones best ... as they don't smudge too badly ..www.spacenk.com/uk/en_GB/brands/l/laura-mercier/longwear-eye-pencil-UK200010890.html?cm_mmc=Google+UK-_-F3D+-+UK|EN|DSN|N|Google+Shopping+-+Brands-_-Laura+Mercier-_-{productgroup}&gclid=Cj0KEQiA7qLDBRD9xJ7PscDCu5IBEiQAqo3BxOdQm7avY_gddgu0_QwfCM8whrpMwZAyndDM5usgRxMaAn938P8HAQ

Happy new year, Nadine! Your makeup philosophy is effective and elegant, that's why I subscribe from the U.S. Question: any thoughts about how to reduce or eliminate milia? What exfoliators would you recommend?

sabaviles yes regular salicylic lotion like the Paula's Choice 2% BHA and remember to cleanse off all silicone based cream blusters or concealers XXX exfoliating is key

Hi Nadine, I'm in love with this list! It's always great to have a round up. Can I ask you what you'd recommend apart from scary peels or lasers for bad sun damage (years in the tropics!)? Thank you so much. x

Hi Amanda Yes this The ordinary Vitamin C Cream at 23%, it tingles but is fading my sun damage slowly - also have you seen my vlog on IPL? That works in a week to significantly reduce age spots and pigmentation - it has been brilliant for me X

Just ordered some if those Ordinary products, can't believe how inexpensive they were to order in Canada, bought your two suggestions, plus the caffeine serum and retinoid serum, for $32. CAD!

Happy New Years too you too :o). Can you test out or research laser resurfacing in 2017? I'm interested in it for scar resurfacing and pores + I heard it's good for stretch marks too- I've just been holding out cause it's a lot of money- to not know if it's definitely going to make a big difference- it makes me second guess it. Congrats on 10,000...I'm sure you'll be at 1mil. soon enough :o)
